Why

Berea, KY

Why is anyone going behind buildings and climbing in dumpsters to see what is in them. I think that is what is crazy. Give these people a break and get their playground up and going. Why do everyone have so much negative things to say about people. Don't you have anything better to do then sit on the computer and say things you don't know anything about. Go outside or clean your house (I bet it needs cleaning). Especially if you have time to trash someone all the time.

I've tried for so long to keep quiet because I know by commenting on here it only further promotes this rediculous site. Which needs to be shut down. Topix is suppose to be used for posting News rather than gossip. I've looked at alot of other states and KY is the only one who abuses this site. But if people can get on here and tell lies then I don't see that it hurts for me to tell the truth. I've worked there for almost three months and I don't think I'd want to work with any other group of women or have any other daycare care for my child. And I know these people I spend 40 hours a week with them. I can guarantee you won't find any drug users or alcoholics among us. As for the children. I love my job. It's not just a paycheck, I am emotionally attached to each and every child there. When they are sick or absent I worry like you wouldn't believe until that child returns. I go above and beyond for these children and do my best to see that I make a positive influence on their lives. I'm a parent myself and I can relate to all of your worries but rest assured when you leave your children with us they are safe and well cared for.
If you heard children there at the daycare using language that you were not happy with please keep in mind that every child goes through stages. They hear things no matter where they go, so I don't think it's fair to say we should disenroll a child. These are children, we have to teach them right from wrong and if we don't care enough to help them then what will happen when they start school. There are consequences for any bad behavior at the daycare but to kick a child out is not the way to help that child.
The daycare has a new security system, an outdoor playground thats coming along very nice. The director is in the process of becoming a star rated daycare which means our facility is going above and beyond what the state requires. It's a great daycare. So before you let this website impact your thoughts come visit the daycare for yourself. Talk to the teachers, and the director! Regina is always open to suggestions And I have seen her bend over backwards for the parents and children at our center. Speaking as a parent I don't think you will find a better daycare in the area. You won't find staff that will not only care for your children but also care about them as we do. Hopefully people will see that no matter how good a place is there will always be people with alterior motives who will speak bad of it!!!

I am looking for a good daycare and a friend of mine recommended me to Bright Beginnings Daycare. She said she used to take her kids there when they were little and loved it. I am interested finding out information on this daycare if anyone out there has any. My kids are 2 and 6. What are the teachers like? How are the kids in those rooms? I have read the post on here and it seem they have some behavior problems in some rooms, but I guess that is to be expected with kids in large groups from different home life experiences. If anyone out there can please help and let me know about the teachers and classroom for my 2 year old and my 6 year old that would be great. Thanks

I use to work there and it's a great place. I left on terms that weren't very good but I have nothing but nice things to say. I worked there about 2 months ago and the two year old teacher was nothing short of AMAZING. I don't know of a child there who would be any danger to your children. The teacher your 6 year old would have is very very creative and the director will go above and beyond to see yours and your childrens needs are met. All the girls there are great. Alot of this stuff on here is ex employees or people who don't have their facts straight. It's a good place. I wouldn't take my child anywhere else. Take a tour, talk to the director and the teachers I'm sure you'll be pleased!!!

about the chic with the dui, i think that what the girls there do on their own time is not really too much of anybody else's business. i mean it's not like she was on her way to watch your kids when she got it. those girls should be able to have a good time when they're not around kids just the same as their parents would if they got a couple of nights away from their kids.

theres another day care in Berea where the owner has a history of hiring drug adicts and thiefs, and one girl who was fired for spanking a kid; they brought her back, and she was reported for force feeding kids and nothing was ever done. She eventually left on her own for a new job. Just be thankfull these girls bad deeds happened away from work instead of on the job, like at thie other daycare in Berea.

I know it wouldn't be hard to figure me out, because of the fuss i made when i heard about what happened to my son. My 5 year old son's teacher grabbed him by the nose and forced a spoon of corn down his throat, because He would not eat his food. I didn't find out till a week later and was furious, as most parents would be. I wanted to do something but two different people told me that the owner would do something about it, and to let them handle it because they worked there. It has never been a secret about how i felt about the situation, and everyone who worked there knew about it.

We all have to remember that everyone is human and we all make mistakes, just because an employee does something, It doesn't mean that the whole facility is bad, What makes a bad facility is if the director knows that this person is doing wrong and does not take the proper action.
