lex18.com reports that a man died--name not released
Maybe if topix users would read stuff like this they would stop all the bantering about stupid stuff and focus on what really matters.

Kentucky State Police state police say William C. Maupin, 47, died after he was thrown from his pick-up truck as it went off the road along US 421 around 7 p.m. Investigators say there were no witnesses to the crash and they don't know what triggered the accident, but it appears the vehicle simply drifted off the road.
William died at the scene.

This is a sad time for his family. I'm sure his family needs all the prayers the can get!

This is one of the most dangerous intersections in Madison County and needs to be re-engineered. My son was in a similar accident several years ago and a motorcyclist was severely injured on 11/08/09 here.

Peace be to the family.

I agree, there needs to be something done with that intersection. I've almost been clobbered there, myself, but this wreck didn't happen at the intersection. It was up the hill from the intersection on 421. It was in front of the water tower.

I so hated to hear this. I went to school with Clay. Even though I haven't seen him in years, he was always a part of my favorite memories.

I pray that his family comes through this with the comfort of God's everlasting embrace of Love and Peace.
