My wife and I will be moving to the Richmond/Berea area in October and we are in need of a daycare for our daughter. She is 12 weeks old. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

Stepping Stones in Berea is great. My son was there 8 years and my daughter from 6 weeks old to 10 years. I recommend them highly.

According to other threads there's some people sitting in front of the glades McDonalds with nothing to do. You can drop your kid off there with them.

Please DO NOT enroll your child at Berea College CDL. They use corporal punishment if a child misbehaves. The student teachers are taught to use pressure points on kids and have been known to leave marks on some! This is stuff law enforcement agents and karate students use to bring down opponents. Should not be used on innocent children!!!!!!!

One of you needs to have a job built around you taking care of your own children. I would not recommend any church, person or daycare for taking care of my children. Seriously, think about it or you will just waste a bunch of time changing daycares all the time and you will eventually give up and take my advice. or Richmond either!

I agree. Although it may be hard to adjust to a one income household it really is worth it to be at home with your child and not some random place/person watch your child.

I'm sure some of these places are ok but not for my kids. There are too many weirdos regardless of these places being State approved and background checks on employees. I waited to get a job until my son hit kindergarten to finally go back to work.

that was my experience, but i took a chance at doing this, but it has worked out working from home for 19 years now. i understand everyone cant do that, but i will not let my children not be taken care of. wish you good luck, i just could not work knowing they were not being taken care of.

Don't use stepping stones if your kids are over 3 unless you want them screamed at and listening teachers cussing and talking about parents or what they did the night before in front of kids dr Ramsey needs to go in and clean house starting with some of his most trusted. Some people who work there it is obvious they don't even like kids hello get another job
