Feel free to post comments and theory's. My wish list would be as follows:

1. Calipari
2. Donovan
3. Pitino

Would anyone not love any one of those guys?

4-8 take your pick.

9. Ford(not enough experience yet. love him though.)

10. Gillispie. Dude has got to go.

Travis Ford is ready
what not eneough experiance, he has taken three teams to the ncaa tournament, if he doesnt come to UK, hell be somewhere else beating UK. his team beat Tennessee, shoots the heck out of the three, plays more like Pitino's old teams, and he has been competitive every where he has gone. This guy will be in the final four withen the next 3 or 4 years

EKU and UMass are not major programs and the OVC and Atlantic 10 aren't major conferences. He didn't take UMass to the NCAA, just the NIT. He did well there, but the Atlantic 10 just isn't an elite level. Ford has done well everywhere he's been, but I want to see what he does in the Big 12 before we decide. He has done great in his first year at Oklahoma St. I wish him the best and think the world of him. He just needs a little more time with the big boys before we put him on top of the basketball mountain.

you deffinatly know what your talking about, but Billy G has about the same resume as Ford does, but i think the style Ford plays is what the fans want to see in Lexington, i garantee you that Ford will be the next coach.

I'd rather have Ford than Billy. Ford's style is exciting too. I wouldn't mind having him over what we have right now! Who knows, it wouldn't shock me if Ford were our coach or if he became one of the greats.

Izzo wouldn't be a bad choice. He seems like he underachieves some years. Of course, underachieving for Izzo is sweet 16, underachieving for Gillispie is NIT.

I'm not ready for McCaffery. Just not a huge name, which is what I think we need. I was pulling for the mighty Saints of Sienna against the disgusting Louisville Cards.

Travis Ford is the King of Douchebags if you ever have the misfortune of meeting him or his wife. He is, however, the obvious choice for U.K. I bet he'll win 10 NIT Championships in the next 30 yrs, and make at least 1 sweet 16 NCAA appearance!

You're an idiot. That person is a fan. That's why he/she doesn't want Ford.

I took it as degrading toward the program. If they're a fan, great. If they aren't a fan, screw 'em.

Degrading to what program, OSU? Ford really is a jerk. Trust me, I know personally.

Whatever. I don't know the guy so I can't argue. He's always been nice when I've ran into him though. I doubt Mitch will be checking the Berea Topix for either of our opinions.

I loved JP as a player, but he sucks as a coach. I understand the need for a local boy though. The AD is at the game tonight.

I love Pelfrey as a former UK player but he is not even on the radar. He souldn't be either considering how terrible Arkansas was this year. I wish him the best though.

My money is on BCG getting fired within the next 48 hours though. One week at the longest.
