He chose to post it on Facebook though. Probably would be a wise choice if he removed it. Sounds like it definitely caused folks to question him.

They are all good Christians who follow every step of the word until they get into office. It is then, you realize that Jonathan and all the others are nothing they appeared to be during the campaign. In fact Jonathan is just like every other canidate during the campaign phase, walking on water. He should be elected due to his credentials and not some academy award performance before the election. These types are the most dangerous and hypocritical.

People need to go back and read the things that Jared Carpenter ran a campaign race on, good christian man, family values, pro-life.

Just think, Jared was early thirties and fell to pressure. What do you think will happen to a kid of his age. I heard he was only 24. I cannot vote for someone like that. No way!

I will not vote for him. He has lost my vote, just because of Jared Carpenter endorcing him. He will lose other votes because of that very reason!!

I am a full supporter of Mr.Shell. I know him and his family well and have lots of respect for him. I know in my heart he will work for his people in Frankfort. I wish him the best and he has all my families vote. No, we didn't vote for Carpenter because we knew from the beginning he was a big fake. Boy, you can always tell if you are observant enough. Go Mr. Shell!!!!!!

Excuse me! I wasn't putting Mr. Shell down I simply feel that he is young and lacks experience. I will not vote for anyone who uses God or Christianity for a vote. It has been shown before that those self-righteous people always have a closet full of skeletons and actions the farthest from being holy. If you are seeking God, I don't think you will find him in your politicians. I see from some of your previous posts on other topics that you are a frequent gossip and have a horrible insecurity for judging others. You need to concentrate on your own weakness.

I am a gossip?

Show me one comment I have posted that is gossip.

If you refuse to vote for a person that states their religious beliefes, what do you vote based on,the 'religion of liberalism?

Liberalism is for many, their religion. They put it above everything else in their lives, especially when it comes to politics. Are you going to reject someone because they state 'their' liberal ideasd?

I seriously doubt it.

As far as politicians, there are good Christian people that are in political office, there are also those, usually democrats, that vote time and time again against traditional family values and when confronted for doing such hide behind the 'its not my place to tell others what to do' excuse.

This 'excuse' is nonsense. These same people vote and pass laws all the time telling people what they can and cant do.

Shell may be ypung but that doesnt mean he cant or wont to a good job.Sometimes the younger are better, they have fresh ideas and energy instead of the same old ideas we hear from democrats.

We have had a republican career politician in this office for 28 years that didn't do a thing for Madison County. Why do we need another do nothing republican?

They bring money into Madison County unlike the republicans! Senator Carpenter has been in office 2 years how much money has he brought to Madison County? The answer is zero. Representative Napier in office for 28 years how much money he has brought to Madison County as a career politician? The answer is zero. Congressman Chandler just got through giving money to the Madison County Sheriff's Office. So now tell me what has a republican ever done for Madison County. The answer is NOTHING!

You are comparing a US Congressman to a state representative, two completely different offices.Chandler has been in office for many years, where is all of the money at that he supposedly brought?

Here is what democrats have given us.

23 million out of work, many right here in the area with factories laying off and closing right in Richmond,a democratic district.

1 in 5 on foodstamps, the highest in US history.

The gutting of Advantage plans for those on medicare.

A state workers retirement system that will probably bankrupt the state.

A plan called obamacare that has taken $716 billion from medicare, something that the elderly desperatly need.

A war on coal that will cause rates to increase putting the elderly in desperate situations by making them choose between electricity and food and medicine.

Chandler voted for all of these,a little bit of money he brings to the county is of no comparison to what he has and will cost not only us but the whole state with his liberal policies.

Who helped get the money for US 25 that is being worked on at this moment?

A republican.

Whe helped get updates for services in the area,a republican.

Shell would not represent Madison county,he would represent Berea and parts of Garrard county and a republican did so for many years, somebody must have liked what took place during that time to keep electing the same person.

Republicans 11.6 trillion dollars in debt when Obama took office.
Wall Street damn near collapsed again under a republican regime.
Deregulation of insurance which has caused insurance rates to sky rocket.
And a republican did not get the money allocated for the US25 project.
As far as Lonnie Napier goes check with the fine citizens of Garrard County and they will tell you that he did NOTHING!

As far as the money goes ask the Sheriff what he plans on doing with the money he just acquired from Chandler then ask the other organizations in Berea and Richmond along with the county what they did with the monies they acquired. Please tell me where coal is mined in the sixth congressional district. Funny thing that you forgot to mention your state senator!

If garrard county didnt get money, then how did 52 get re-done.How did they get water improvements?

How did part of HWY 150 get re-done?

Napier had a lot to do with HWY 25 and those saying otherwise are not telling the truth.

For him to have not done anything,he was re-elected for some reason. Those saying he didnt are probably liberal democrats that wouldnt admit what he did regardless of how it helped the county,as most liberals do.

Lets look at Richmond,Moberly and Worley, democrats, represented it for how many years, what did they do?

Lets look at the other issues.

The housing crisis was not caused by republicans, look it up.You are here on topix, you can do your own research. The crisis was caused by democrats/Barney Frank, that made it possible for those that would in no way qualify for a home loan to get one.

Banks gave the loans and since they coulnt be paid back, tax payers had to bail them out. This in turn effected thousands of people. We have seen the results of this,a crisis.

What also isnt mentioned is that for the last two years under Bush and the first two years under Obama, four years total, congress was controlled by democrats.

That means that Bush could not have done anything that democrats didnt want to do.

It also means that obama and the congress could have done anything they wanted but they had no clue as to what to do.Tax increases and class warfare is all they know how to do.

As far as the debt, obama has increased the debt more than all other presidents combined, fact.

It was reported in the Richmond Register,a conservative paper by no means, that the debt will be over a trillion dollars again this year.

The debt this year puts the total US debt at over 16 trillion dollars.
