Bus Beating

i suppose everyone has heard about the "bus beating". I know the man that supposadly did this, and i know that it is bogus. he would never beat a child, and if he did, there would be marks to show it. bud had driven the bus, this being his 40th year, and he was going to retire and have a nice "going away" parting gift and such, but now due to this money-hungry family, he will not be honored for the many years he served. anyone intrested in maybe helping with a small get-together for this great man, please comment

boy, there were definitely bus drivers that would beat your a** when I was young. These guys were old school, no messin' around types. I think our bus driver on at least three occasions pulled the bus over, whacked a kid, then had us all dig a shallow grave to put them in. I can tell you that there was no horseplay for a few days after that! Those were good times.

He's a very good man . Theres no way,unless the kid provoted it.Anything we can do let us know.I've known himfor at least 14yrs.

Yes he is a good man, but the Sheriff had to put his two cents in that he is investigating the case just to get his name on TV.

Well I am not affriad to post my actual name, this is the kids sister and I've heard of Bud and I understand some things about Bud, but rather provoked or not YOU DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS ON A LITTLE BOY. Obvisouly he is a angry man and can't control it. This isn't the first time and their are many kids who will tell you this. You may know him and all but you don't know my brother or the other kids who he is physicaly and verbaley abusing. I have known my brother for all my life, he is quite and keeps to himself most of the time.
We are not money hungry and it doesn't hurt our feelings that you would say such a thing. You obviously don't know us and how well off we are. Just think if it was your kid. Its sad how negative you would be of a kid you don't even know.

I heard the kid had been kicked off at least one other bus before they changed this drivers route so a bus could pick him up.

I can't believe that Bud would do anything like this. He may give a firm lecture, but never abuse. And verbal abuse! Psht. If these damn kids would start listening and respecting authority, adults would never have to raise their voices. I'm sorry, but some of these kids need attitude adjustments. How old was this child? And how old are you Kayla?

if bud did do it the punk surely did need his ass-busted, thats whats wrong with the world today, not enough parents take responsibility for their childs actions, and if this would have happen to me my dad would have wipped my ass again when i got home!!

If my parents found out about me getting in trouble, I only got it worse when I got home. They thought that if I did something in public bad enough to deserve physical punishment, I needed to really learn my lesson.

I love how even though this has absolutely nothing to do with ur dislike of a sheriff, people are still trying to beat a dead horse in their vendetta against Walter. Keep that crap away and let us be in peace for at least 4 years, and you can start back up at the next election.

As for the actual topic, this seems pretty crazy. I have never ridden the bus with Bud Schweer, but I have only heard good things about him, however that doesn't prove anything. And in my experiences with the Sanchez family, they haven't seemed like bad people, but that also doesn't prove anything. I say we let the proper people take care of this and stop dragging people's names through the mud.

But dragging names through the mud is what many topix posters seem to thrive on isn't it?

I feel the whole "bus beating" was wwaaayyyy over
exaggerated. If the long haired boy got the beating he says -where were his marks? the bus driver is a large man and would have done more damage than I saw. The kid was too eager to tell his story. Maybe if the parents would be held accountable for the kids actions he would change his ways and they wouldn't have to get a new bus driver every year or so. The background of these people doesn't seem to be the best which was very evident by first impressions!!! Give it a rest, Your child wasn't beaten , although he probably needed to be so he would settle down! And....get your child a haircut, please!!

I guess I missed out on this big news story. Exatly what does the boy say the bus driver did to him? Did he hit him,spank him or what? I thought the bus drivers were supposed to call in to the school administrators when a student was acting up anyway.They used to call in and an administrator would come meet the bus and get the kid off.They used to just let the students off our bus when I went to school and they had to walk home. What does the kids hair length have to do with anything either? Did the driver have a problem with the boys hair? I'd just like to know why all this started. As for the sheriff's dept. getting in on it,there must have been a complaint filed and the dept then had to look into it and get the facts before anything could be done. If the driver did hit the kid, then I hope he's not still driving. If he's been driving a bus for 40 years then I think it's about time he retired.

I saw the boy on kfvs 12 news 2-3 days after Bud supposedly beat him up. Not a scratch on the boy. My daughter rides the same bus and told me this boy has to always sit in the front seat, from being in trouble before.

You can put your opion on here just like everyone else but your brother DID NOT keep to his self Kayla he was in trouble more than once on the bus from what i understand. Mocking and making fun of the bus driver! Needs to learn to respect his elders!!!!!!!!!!
