I think it would be nice to post something useful instead of bashing someone...... I had a friend tell me the other day that she heard if you put a dryer sheet on each one of your celing fan blades w/ a rubberband it will catch the dust instead of making dust bunnies...i thought that was neat and would like to see if anyone else might have anything they would like to share.

tonya maybe using a hint of bleach? thats a tough one! i need to get my household helps book out and post some up on here...my mom has told me tons too but i cant think of any off the top of my head lol i do love the magic eraser though. when my little boy was younger, he had taken a permanent marker to my hope chest my grandpa made for me. i was in tears! lol but i took that magic eraser to it and poof! it was just like wiping off a table and it ALL came off! the only thing i dont recommend with the magic eraser is using it on walls. if u rub too hard it does take the paint off. but i think everyone needs a magic eraser in their house!

the same lysol cleaner you would mop with it has a degreaser and kills germs. oh and the new spray and wash with resolve carpet cleaner works good also. they are both about $2 at the dollar store.

has anyone tried the oxy-clean if so what is your input on it and how did you use it. I was told to put the clothes in hot water with this stuff but when I did it did not get the stains out and it shrunk my shirts. I was not impressed with it. Any ideas from people that has kids that stain their clothes. I sure could use some laundry help. Lysol thanks for the tips the spray and wash with reslove I have and am not impressed with it. I really need the input thanks to all in advance.

No I haven't not yet. The reason I am asking is we moved to a new place that did not have much storage space and had a bright (now not such a bright idea lol) idea to store the boxes out behind our house and put a tarp over it to keep the rain out until we could get to them and put the clothes in plastic storage containers but unfortunately the tarp was not big enough and the rain has caused problems with the clothes. I am trying to salvage as much as I can but not sure what to use. That is why I am asking for help. I would appreciate any and all input. Thanks to all that is and has replied. This has been a really helpful topix you all have been great.

Not to change the subject, but I heard you can put dryer sheets in your cabinets to keep mice out of them. I dont have a mice problem in my new house but I wish I would have known that before we moved

Well, it is yeast. So, I would assume that it could be used in the brewing of beer.
