Since when has the prosecuter in a criminal case charge someone with murder because "thats what the family wants". The family's or the victims wishes should not be considered when prosecuting crimes. When you do consider family wishes, violent rapist get off with a slap on the wrist and other people are prosecuted to the maximum. Does this seem fair? People need to wake up around here.
really?

Well then aint that what should be said instead of "we are doing what the family wants". Sure sounds like "the family" influenced the prosecuter. Murder? Really? Your the idiot!

Not condoning or defending but in similar cases the prosecution considers the families wishes before deciding the extent of the charges and not just here but all over the country

Probably should research Commonwealth state vs other states. I beleive you will find "victim or victims family" has no bearing in Commonwealth state when it comes to prosecution of crime.

One more time. If the victim or the victims family is able to influence prosecution or not to prosecute this would open up the flood gates for corruption. It would be the haves vs the have nots. Is this what MC is about? Its common sense, not reading it off the internet moron!

Yes it's fair and its very common. It happens everywhere not just MC. Sorry but that's the way the world works. Best advice is not break the law and you don't have to worry about it.

You can't charge someone with murder when the victim is still alive.

It's the law dufus. You can't charge someone for murder until they die and that is what happened in this case. I'm sorry you like to blame MC for all of your problems but the law is the law. Maybe you should consider moving if its so bad here? I think you will find the world works the same way everywhere.
