The owner of Pepsi thinks that his employees are like cattle and he can replace them at any time ! He stated this to the manager at Benton when i worked several years ago . Very bad place to work at !

He runs a business, not a charity. He pays his employees. He doesn't owe them anything else.

I have never heard anyone that has worked there say one good thing about it. But it could be that way when they will hire just about anyone.

The very few people that have worked there long enuff to make decent money get to a point that they will not pay you any more money so that you quit and Harry Crisp does not care because he can hire some young kid in an pay him 10,000 dollars less a year than what you were making . That is why Coke & RC Cola workers are making more money than Pepsi workers and in this area Pepsi will always be thought of by store owners , etc. as a second rate operation and Coke will always have more shelf space and more displays and will be on sale in more stores by a 80 percent margin compared to Pepsi . Pepsi is always hiring replacement workers for ones that go on to better jobs and that is why service , cleanness and good working relationships with store managers suffer because of new trainies that are young and inexperienced and dont care as much about servicing accounts like they need to be serviced !

Worst place to work in all of Marshall County! They have a turnover rate like a check-out line at the grocery store, and their human resource mgr. in a real piece of work, at least that's what some friends of mine that worked for them communicated. They are posting "Now Hiring" forums on "Topix," that should tell you something about how desperate they are! I have never worked for them, but I know many in MC that have, and every single one of them have lamented on how bad it is, and what a joke they are! The only people they are successful in getting in there are folks who have just moved to the county, are looking for work, and do not know any better! The owner is a cheap individual , who wants slave labor, and does not want to pay a man (or lady) what they are worth. I would work fast food before I would work for them!

I worked there and worked hard, which is what I do. I spent a great deal of my time apologizing to customers because the company would not deliver sufficient product. I was told product would be delivered, even by the owner, but only partial orders would arrive. When he would sit in on meetings I found his input repulsive as I did not believe most of what he said. He was born with a silver spoon and has great brands, but, in my opinion, the company is operationally pitifull, at best. Before you go to work there, ask any store in the area about Pepsi.

I own my own business so I totally don't have a dog in this race, but I will say that I have heard that Pepsi is a horrible place to work from many different people who have worked there. Maybe the owner should take note to some of the comments on here and re-think his management style...happier employees leads to employee retention and more productivity; two things essential for a successful business.

Harry Crisp nearly lost his franchise rights several years because of charges of infearier product and bad service and was being sued by Pepsi Co . To keep his franchise he had to do 2 million dollars in advertising in a certain amount of time and also changed the name from Marion Pepsi to Pepsi Mid - America to try to get a tainted name out of the market

All baseless lies from a man that couldn't handle running a billion dollar company for a day. Pepsi MidAmerica has grown by leaps and bounds under his leadership.

Go by any grocery store or Supercenter and ask them about Pepsi Mid - America and you will get negative responses from almost all of them . Why do you think that they have a sign up 365 days a year that they are hiring at Benton , it is because when people work there and find out what a sh@thole it is they quit and go to a better job .They are always hiring because turnover is 95 percent of more !

I just get tired of lazy workers that expect their jobs to be easy. Mr. Crisp is a job creator. His employees should be thanking him.
