I'm asking for peoples opinions. I personally love it and think its a great place. Great meat. Great service. Great people and hospitality. Always reliable. Been here for 62 years. I just wish I could've seen it back in the day.

We've been shopping there for near 40 years, had a couple problems at times with the products, but the good folks at KB always made it right. D@m glad they didn't roll over and give-up when the super store was built. Will keep shopping there.

haha I can see why you'd say that but I'm sorry to say it isn't devin. But it is a close friend who knows him and his truck very well.

I wish we could afford to shop at King Bros , but they are way to high on prices for us to do any shopping there ! Sometimes we go there for milk or bread or meat specials but otherwise they are just to high on pricing .

They are a little more expensive than Walmart on some things, but unless you are a really disciplined shopper,(and I'm not)I will always spend more in Walmart for things I really didn't need or go in for. I do buy most of my paper products from Walmart, but I try to get my groceries from King Bros. either in Benton or Draffenville. I personally think that Draffenville has a better selection of the 5/$20 meat. I will NEVER buy meat from Walmart after seeing on a special report about a year ago where Walmart, Kroger and some of the other big chain stores will inject their meat with liquids for preserving them which increases the weight of the product so you are actually paying for liquid than meat. Walmart was one of the worst since they don't cut much, if any, of theirs. Most of theirs comes in prepackaged.

I try to always get my wic from king bros to give them that business. ESP when I got formula. Milk is way cheaper of course. Love them but maybe remodel or something make it newer... They will almost have to or go out of business over years :/ hate to say . My opinion

King Brothers is where Calvert Drive-in gets all of its meat. Each day before the movies, they make a call and get it ground fresh that day. Not many places around that you could do that at anymore.

The man that owns Pucketts jewelry once told my wife she should buy all our groceries at King Bros. instead of at Walmart and she told him we could not afford it but he said sure we could . What he dont realize is that he is rich and my wife and i live paycheck to paycheck and we can buy $100 worth of groceries at Walmart that will cost $150 to $175 at King Brothers . We wish we could buy them at King Bros instead of the hassle of Walmart but we just cant afford it .

John I hope that you don't buy any meat from w.m. Their meat is pcked in a formalide type solution to maintain its color and freshness. They want you to buy their great valve brand , which is not as good as off brnds at King bros. Also check their contents, LESS than major brands. You don't get any great bargains from Wal Mart its just been a brainwashing effect. Hate em !

If King Bros. wants to compete in the grocery business they need to upgrade their stores. That's how competition works in this country. I've been shopping at Food Giant. It's new, clean and super friendly people and the prices are good too if you watch the specials in their ad. King Bros are nice, but both their groceries are run down. If they want to play in today's market they need to spend some money to modernize the stores.
