<quoted text>Sounds like an admission of guilt. You've either cheated with this guy, have talked or thought about it. You are looking for anyone to tell you it's okay. If was okay, you wouldn't need reassurance of the fact. It appears your husband has all the right to be jealous. Hope he kicks your ass to the curb and moves on.
When did I ask for anyone's approval?I'm just stating the facts. If I wanted to cheat I could. How long does it take to have sex? Not that long. I'm just saying he shouldn't be jealous because I don't cheat or confide in anyone. Just chatting via text. No different Facebook .

No, its called respect for others. Unlike you i care about other peoples feelings. If my husband wasn't happy, i would be trying everything i could to make him happy. Your husband deserves better.

Take it from someone who knows, it starts off innocent but the moment u feel like u shouldn't be there u better stop. I agree with everyone on here u shouldn't be texting someone else that is not your spouse, especially if u r hiding it. If u r needing something that your spouse is not giving u tell them. You will feel horrible if this goes farther than it should. Stop before u do something u will regret. Ask yourself would I like it if it were being done on me.

I am married to a man that is jealous and insecure. But I would never cheat on him or have in appropriate text. I just wish he wasn't so jealous.

IF YOU HIDE THINGS IT IS CHEATING SEX IS JUST A FORM OF CHEATING MOST PEOPLE WHO HAVE AFFAIRS dont love the party the r doing it with but late night calls laughing n texting leads to love which is worse?

I thought I was clear in my first post. I am not talking about "our" friends. I am asking about "his" female friend that I have never heard about. Just to clear up the "Jealous Theory". With his job he talks to women. I am talking about YEARS of talking to a woman (or man...point taken, door swings both ways!) and not ever mentioning it to your wife/husband. Both of them say they are "Just friends"

Hiding from spouse is wrong. Friends and the ones they tell you about is ok. When you hide calls, it's cheating. Cause then they are in a situation where friendship turns into romance and didn't want that to happen. I learned the hard way from my spouse. Friends and then one thing lead to another thing.

I dated a girl for awhile, and I saw her texting guys all the time, she tells me they are just friends, but I text a female friend once, and she claims that I cheated on her.

I called him out on it that day! He admitted it was wrong and he shouldn't have been talking to her about anything except business stuff. Then we will talk again and he wants to know when i am going to let it go he said he was sorry? When I think about a woman I do not know, knowing things about me that only close friends know it makes me mad! In a one week she called many times and they talked for hours with many texts. So am I being stupid to even consider forgiving him? I have tried to slow down and not make any "angry" decisions. But I can't keep pretending everything is okay....

The stupid decision you made was to air out your dirty laundry on topix. What do you think I should do if and when he reads this thread and figures out it is you?

What do I think "you" should do? Great one more dumb a** that thinks I need their help. He needs to talk to his wife not a good time friend. As for him reading it...READ ON!

If you have to hide it, then there is a problem. I have some female friends and I will not and do not hide it from my lady. she knows I love her very much, but I still have female friends I went to high school with after 25 years or so. Granted I do not go out with them or hang with them alone, because just putting yourself in that situation is stupid. If they need my opinion or someone to just talk to I will listen. Never hide anything from your wife, husband, or lover...if you do you are already in the wrong.
