I got a building that they built a few years ago and it's falling apart I have been after them to come look at it to fix it since its warrantied for almost a year now the building is about 7 miles from their store an they haven't even came out and looked at it yet to tell me what they can do about it there is big gaps in the siding a lot of nails that clearly missed the 2x4 I personally know a guy that used to work there and build the buildings and he said him and another guy race to get done first what can I do about this I have had enough

The owner is pretty much a drunk , i would take it to small claims court before the warranty runs out .

The warranty that is affected they said was lifetime on decay and rot but why would treated wood be rottin and decaying and falling apart after a few years

Does it have 4 by 4 runners on the bottom so it sits up off the ground because that is probably the only treated lumber in the building , i looked at some of his buildings years ago and they were built out of the cheapest lumber you can buy and lots of time it is knotted up , barked and cracked because it is so cheap.

T&c is a joke. Bunch of junk piled around. Employees don't even act like they want to sell you anything. I mean really, who walks around with a cigarette while working and trying to help you find products. Waste of time to shop there.

his wife is a straight up bitch, she has no business skills whatsoever...the place is dump, you would think they would make their hired hands keep the place clean and neat for business. walking around to look at their materials is accident waiting to happen...I stepped on a screw which was new and not rusted thank goodness. but they need to clean up their act and business...someone should contact the better business bureau...im sure they would close the doors...I hate to see someone lose a business but they need to look and be more prefessional

Best bet is to file small claims. Doing the same with my building just purchased last June. I called them for months to come fix the door and other issues that went wrong only a month after it was purchased. Finally I started calling up to 3 times a day, guy shows up and tries to tell me the building just needs to be re-leveled (for a door falling off thr hinge!) and said it would cost ME! Needless to say I asked him to get off my property and filed a small claims.
The guy was dumb enough to mention that T and C had "recieved" many faulty buildings and were unable to return them to the manufacture....Yet they we sold?

I'm in the same boat. Had my building 2 1/2 years now. Every dang shingle on the thing has blown off and been replaced. The door was literally falling off, so I had to fix that. Just overall shoddy construction. I figured I would just fix it myself and stay the heck away from T&C.

I considered just fixing it, but the rudness of the T&C employees did it for me. The fact I had to call for months just to get them here to look at it. They do not care if you paid in full for it because they already have your money, the first question they ask when you call is if you are a rent-to-own or owner. If you already paid then your just screwed or you take them to court to get it fixed.

Yea just like the faulty kerosene heaters they old during the ice storm. Taking advantage during a horrible situation. They made over $800 from my family alone that day and they knew what was Finn happen. Just a coincidence they all went out in 2 days and smoked our houses up almost killing us with fumes and one was even pregnant.

I have a court date for 17th of May, but have to confirm owner has been served papers, I am sure 'he knows how to avoid the court system'... I have pics of the building falling down,(not even a year old) door coming off, siding swelling and buckeling up, boxes of clothes items that got soaked from not being able to close door... door so swollen have to use large brick to hold door and sometimes still opens... guy came out and said 'my fault floor got wet that he could level building ..... i said 'see ya in small claims''''
