It is pitiful what that store has become.
No service, owner is rude, hides in the back, unless he wants to brag about his tv show that no one even watches.
they never have nothing in stock.
How do these people even stay in business?
All the good employees left and I dont blame them.
Take your money to Dunns or Shooters Supply
and if you want fishing stuff I'd either drive to lake barkley or go to fishermans headquarters in draffenville!
And More on It

In today's ecomony, bad service is a business killer because we all want the most for our money--and that includes SERVICE.

for the pissed off customer, I have been dealing with them every since they opened their store in benton, maybe u was just pissed off before u got there cause these guys,do a very good job, and as far as the guys shooting their bows,i would have to say these are bows of customers that are being set up,so i would think before i spoke about those guys, thay do a really good job,if they didnt how would they still be doing what they do.may be u should open a store if u know all the answers.lmao

Their service did suck everytime I was there. They'd be eating and look at each other when I walked in to buy a gun. The black guy was the best they had in the gun dept.

My dad wanted a gun for Christmas so I called Ky Lake Outdoors to see if they had what I was looking for. What I wanted they did not have in stock but the owner went out of his way to get me this gun. When I was in the store I was greeted by friendly and helpful employees. As far as them being high. I checked several different places before I purchased the gun and Ky Lake outdoors was cheaper. I will continue to shop there!!!!

Ky Lake Outdoor world sucks! I refuse to go in the establishment... It is a bunch of wanna bees! They have this stupid show that most people make fun of- who knows who's property they are hunting on? They don't care it's for the show! Or my favorite how many tags do their hunters receive? Must be more than I get - because they are always showing someone who is "above the law"!

If anyone is looking to buy a gun I would highly recommend Grand Rivers Antiques. He can get majority of all guns. Very friendly and helpful. I have purchased most guns from him, recently my friend was looking for a Rossi and he called there, the guy stated he could give him a price but he could probably get one cheaper in Paducah. He said the chepaer guns like 100-300 he cant really compete with major chains but the higher price guns he can save you money. How many business would tell you that nowadays?? He has got my business for sure

I doubt many customers are having bows set up in the peak of fishing season.
Brian Gold is the best archery tech in Western, Kentucky but he doesn't work there anymore, from what I have been told.
I see where you are coming from but when they are playing some kind of "game" back there it is hard to believe.
At one time it was the best store around, it has gone to crap now.
But hey if you tell them they can come hunt your property for their lil TV show they will treat you like gold.

At least he (hay stupied) does it in here rather than on their stupid tv show! All they do on there is talk about themselves. They are not vain at all- I like to DVR it just so I can make fun of them! ESP the 2 brothers- their dorks....
What a joke

That place used to be great when they first opened in calvert. Full of stock and great employees. Had two younger guys that knew a ton about fishing and fished all the time, alwasy asked if you needed help.
Other two younger men in archery were always helpful.
The reason I always came there was to talk to the employees very curtious.
Now, I dont go in there because the employees dont talk or want any interaction with customers, unless they tell you about their "TV SHOW and the GREAT footage"
They also never have anything in stock that you need, they always say "we'll order it" only for it to be back ordered, or got lost in shipping.
Owner is a joke and so is their TV Show.

Amen what a joke I agree wholeheartedly!!

Whatever happened to the time when things were always in stock? And they werent trying to sell you their hunt or get you to get you let them hunt your proprty? I wouldn't let the tards on my property for fear of lawsuit!!

Too bad someone doesn't open another huntIn store nearby~ then They would appreciate the business.
