So I have two children who I want to get enrolled in the daycare system. I want some where that is nice and has a clean environment. I have been checking my options but right now kids country daycare seems like the best option for me n my children, opinions would be appreciated!

Kids country is a joke. The people that work there are lazy and rude. I wouldn't let them pay me to drop my kids off there.

I know your looking for the best care for your child but you have to think that anywhere you go is going to have its potential issues. I know that neglect and abuse are a parents worst nightmare and living in different states throughout the last 5 years and I have heard all the horror stories. Even squeaky clean places WILL mess up and do something or not do something that your kids will need. All I can say for advice is to physically go to each place you consider and chose what your instinct tells you.

However I can say private daycares are the best option. Just saying.

Lazy and rude? I think not. I know for a fact I have never been rude to anyone and u can't be lazy when working with three and four year olds.

Proud Parent- If you don't mind me asking, how old are your children? That could help make a difference in where you could take them...

My daughter went to Kids Country for years. We tried others but settled in with KC. I'm sure the staff has changed since we were there but I can't imagine that Beth would keep anybody that was lazy or rude. I picked up my daughter. Everyday when I arrived I would find the staff engaged with the children, not gathered in a group talking. The place was clean, the meals were nutritional, they provided fun activities for the kids and they were very dependable. I give them my highest recommendation.

Learn & Play is, by far, the best.(In my opinion anyway.)

You really have to watch the private ones, also. Some of the people who run them are not on the up and up and it is beyond me HOW they got their licenses. That's scary !

There is a private home day care provider in WF that is currently on probation in Williamson Co for DUI's, has no current driver's license, arrested in Jackson for Controlled substance, and yet the state pays her to watch 6 children! What parent would take their child there? Well, they do....also she rakes in $1500 a month taking care of her 2 grandchildren telling the state that she is their foster parent when all the time the biological mother keeps them. She gets WIC, LINK, many more freebies from the state and it's all a lie!!!! THere goes our tax money and I'm sure she's not the only one!

How do you know this? I it's really such open and public knowledge and no one has done anything, why don't you call her in and report it instead of trying to complain on an anonymous rumor/shit starting website.

P.S. That whole thing I just said means I don't care about that whole thing you just said, Vanessa who is probably a dude using a girls name.

It has been reported and the people who work for social services and such are collecting paychecks for doing nothing. Oh, it's open and public for sure. You probably know all the ins and outs of welfare too, beans! I'm sure you could educate us all on how to live off the government.

Are you magic? Do you have a crystal ball you gaze into to see other peoples lives?

Well let me take a crack at this. Your from west Frankfort so your already a worthless undeserving piece of shit that thinks everything is owed to you.

Your name tells me that you were either a fatty in high school or your legs were spread so often that now you can't even sleep throughout the night without having something stuffed in-between them.

You think I'm on welfare which is just a shot in the dark since I know for a fact you know nothing about me. That alone tells me your stupid and you love to start drama just because.

Now here's my future prediction. You'll probably end up like every other piece of shit in wf and spend your days cheating on your husband while he's at work with some guy you went to high school with since he was just as big of a loser as you and never left. Then you'll crank out four or five kids and be proud of the 75 lbs you gain because "working off the weight is hard" your right stuffing your fat, greasy face will be so much easier. Maybe you might even get lucky and wind up with a job at walmart where you can get 15 percent off. Oooh goody Christmas for everyone.

By the way, I am better than you.

I really liked him going there. They were always nice to him and I knew everything he did all day. They give you a sheet that has the time they change their diaper, when and what thy ate, what they played with, and new developments, what mood they were in. Anything you need to know. Beth is a super nice woman also. It's clean, and fun for the kids. I wouldn't consider lindas only because of the problems I had personally as a child going there. She is mean to kids (personal experience with that) and way too strict.

I went to Kids Country as a child, it's a shit hole. They don't care about the kids there and like someone said above, they're lazy.

My child went to Kids Country for a while and at first I thought it was ok, but as I started paying more attention there were things that I did not like at all. If you take your child there just pay close attention. Go in on unexpected visits. Needless to say I took my child somewhere else.

my child went to kids country for about 9 months it all seemed fine. then many times my child got hurt there; i asked the first time to call me immediately when my child gets hurt. well one day i went in and my child had a black eye; i asked why iw asnt called and got 4 different excuse like we were taking money from a parent and soon. then when i went to collect my childs things, they refused to give me pictures of my child; i offered to buy them etc nope they are our property they replied. the worst part of it is the fact that it was all of my childs first... walk, talk, sit up etc. in which they were making for the parents. AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE THEM TO ME. I BEGGED PLEADED OFFFERED TO PAY.. THEY ARE TERRIBLE
SINCE THEN MY CHILD HAS BEEN ATTENDING LEARN AND PLAY SCHOOL AND IT ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THE TEACHERS ARE GREAT, THEY TAKE WONDERFUL CARE OF THE KIDS AND THE KIDS LOVE IT THERE.
