It would help to quit sending semi-literate people like Sen. Gary Forby to Springfield. is it any wonder that the rest of the state looks down on us, when people like him are who we send to represent us?

Can't speak for anyone else here, but I' neither a Tea Bagger or a Republican. I voted for Kondritz in the State Senate primary and President Obama and Mark Minor in the general election. I'm just tired of southern Illinois being embarrassed by Gary Forby.

Because they are ignorant and think change is still coming lol. More taxes to be hiked up and more of our rights to be taken away. That's what's really happening. Wish these politicians would cut their pay. Like that's ever gonna happen!! So sick of it! People just can't get ahead. Work more and they take more. No wonder people stay on welfare!

In response to the teabag comment, after years and years of Franklin co. Control and years of the state of il. Control and we rank last in all categories, it doesn't not take much thinking to realize we need a teabag change.

Yeah, Illinois needs more people in office like Michelle Bachman and Christine(I am not a witch) O'Donnell. The only thing stupider than a Tea Party candidate is a Tea Party voter.

Unemployment rates are measured by county not congressional districts. In the whole counties that the sixth congressional encompasses the average unemployment rate is 5.6. If you question if our unemployment rate is inaccurate what would make you think Minn. is any different? If you are going to lie please make up a good one. Thanks.

The question was, how has her and the likes of her and others hurt the country or Franklin co. In general. There was no lie it clearly that dist. At 4.5 facts do not lie.

This is a statement and not a question. The poster was clearly not responding to your post. The claim of 4.5 percent unemployment is false. I looked it up. I guess that is why you're clearly "confused". Maybe Bachman's husband can pray your stupidity away. This has worked so well in treating homosexuality. A treatment that he bills Medicare for.

I once again read the southern this morning, voice of the readers, and then turned on the television and it was reported we are going in debt to the tune of 3.2 billion per day and once again why do we vote like we do? By the way what does michell bachman and homosexuals have to do with the condition of Franklin co. And Illinois?
