Any Bigfoot stories? One captured in 1860's

In the late 1860's a Bigfoot was allegedly caught. It was named Giant of the Hills, it lived in the Ouachita Mt. Range and was captured in a cave on the Saline River and taken to Benton, where it later escaped.
This was recounted in a 1941 book by Otto Rayburn called "Ozark Country"
