1. Lets get back on topic. 2. You only feel like you can talk down on people because on here, they dont know who you are. Anonymous isnt something you should take advantage of, some people might have ways of getting to you...technology these days. 3. iv talked to quite a few people at CHSM and alot of them come here because of how pompous everyone is at MHS. im not saying they are, but if alot of people say something like that, it tends to be true. --on topic-- i have yet to be pulled over by "gonad's" as everyone has put. i have been pulled over however, by a maize cop when the lady next to me was pulling past me.

I cant believe what im hearing, people who are claiming to be innocent and defending the police department. The fact is, if you have been driving for more than a couple of years, you have violated the speed limit a time or two. Anyone who claims they have never violated the speed limit is a lier! I bet that no one would be willing to defend the police after getting a hefty fine or ticket! This has nothing to do with being a moral person. I would be willing to put money on it says that most of us break laws every day and dont even realize it. Yes i know that the police are there to protect and serve, but 9 times out of 10 they are just looking for a reason to pull you over in a small town like that! They have nothing better to do and they got to make their quoata.

This guy acts/thinks he owns the whole town. After the homecoming dance at the highschool, he told some of my friends and I to "get off of his property and go have sex somewhere else." when we were just walking out of the dance. Isn't he lovely? Who would say that to a highschool student, I mean really.

As a starter, let me say I am in no way ENDORCING Officer "gordito" here...but he did let a friend of mine off twice. Both times however he let him off because he still had his tags on from out of state. My friend claimed, "he didn't know the speed limit" and he bought it. Now the first time was almost 30+ over. The second time my friend was NOT speeding as I was in the car with him and can defend that. I have seen Godinez pull people over before for speeding when they are being passed by other vehicles in the same zone. Another friend of mine was driving down 119th and attempted to pass a car going 35 in the 55. After he started the pass the car that was going 35 decided to speed up. The car that was behind my friend filled the gap so my friend had no choice but to continue on and pass. It took a bit but he managed to pass the car who was determined to keep him from passing but Gordito pulled him over for passing in a no pass zone. The zone did change over but the pass had started and should have been completed in the no passing zone had it not been for the car who attempted to block out the other. He also has a reputation of sitting by the RR crossing on tyler just south of 45th and he LOVES to write tickets in the 40-55 speed change. Apparently he expects you to change speed at the drop of a dime because he ticketed my friend for 43 in a 40, while he was in the proccess of dropping his speed.

I have been passed like that before and that is what causes accidents, some kid speeding north on 119th thinks they can pass wherever they want at whatever speed they want. I hope he writes more of those snotnosed kids and stops the accidents they are causing. The kids have a wreck a week on 119th with their poor driving habits. I know that there has been at least three rollover accidents in that area by teens in the last three months. But of course it is always some other drivers fault right MHS driver... Maybe that officer saved your life or someone elses since you kids seem to think you somehow have the right to take other people's lives in your hands. And speeding is always against the law especially when you or someone else get killed because of it. Grow up and quit complaining about someone doing their job and complain about the kids being killed because some idiot thinks that they own the road because they have a car.

Everyone on here who knows NOTHING about the topic should stop posting. If you have never encountered Godinez then you don't know what any of us are talking about. SECONDLY, stop stereotyping teens, just as many adults are pulled over by him and the majority of them I know think he is an arrogant ass as well. A group of parents came up with most of his nicknames anyway. Please don't comment unless you know what you're talking about, don't just come on here and defend the officer just because he MUST be right, he's a cop and all us whiny kids/adults must be nuts. there is NO WAY a cop could be bad or wrong

All of you nice law abiding citizens may not have seen some of the people in question in their private lives. Don't be so trusting. I've seen some do some outrageous things to even their own families. Yes I do know what I'm talking about for you doubters. I worked in a group where police, fire and EMS socialized together. You don't see or hear what goes on behind the scenes. If the city of Maize knows of this, and I don't see how they couldn't by now, it is their responsibility to do something. I will definitely be avoiding the area and I used to shop there, used to. the man was not speeding the man was going 37 mph in a 40 and anthony walk out in front of the man yes the man was drunk but if the dumbass didnt walk infront of cars giving them little time to slow down he wouldnt have this problem. ahahaha PEG LEG

I had the same thing happen to me by this VERY officer! I was, however speeding - I was on Tyler Rd. headed from 53rd toward 45. I was going 10 over but he said he clocked me at 20 over and refused to show me the radar. I took him to court. When I arrived at court that day he pulled up behind me and waited for me to get out of my car. When I got out he said "Did you realize there was a stop sign back there?" I said "No, there is no stop sign back there!" He said "Oh yes there is and I just watched you run it." He was trying to scare me out of putting him on the stand! I told the judge I was speeding but that I was only going 10 over and that the officer refused to let me see the radar. Of course he ruled in the favor of the Fat-Ass Flattop PIG! It's small town court - they'll do anything to make a buck. I hope he gets fired and can't find work because of his bad attitude. It'd serve him right to life like the poor piece of shit he is.

Yes the police are tough but they are also very good at thier jobs and make this "ghost town " very secure. There are other streets that can be taken to go around Maize. The residents here also do not appreciate speeders of any kind when our children happen to live her

I also live in maize and have had several run ins with this particular cop. I am a woman who has been literally stalked by this cop. He has took it upon himself to find out my name and run my information. He found a warrant for failure to appear on an old doctors bill from 9 years ago. I happened to be walking out my door when he pulled up and told me my birthday and said do you know you have a warrant for your arrest? He also said do you know your license is suspended mind you I am no where near my car. He then proceeded to tell me he was going to have to take me to jail and told my friend to take my kids inside. On the way to the jail he was asking me all kinds of personal questions (i.e. what high school I went to, where was I from, how old I was, amongst other questions), The second incident I was mowing a neighbors yard and stopped him to tell him about a boy that was repeatedly exposing himself to kids in the neighborhood and he never took the report but proceeded to ask me if I got my warrant taken care of and proceeded to run my name again. He does not deserve to have a badge as far as I am concerned and have recently had another run in with him. He constantly drives by my home atleast once a day. I have recently spoke with a lawyer and I am going from there.

Just to clear things up. Usd266 police are POLICE officers. it is illegal to have the word police on your car and shirt if you are not a police officer. All of them carry guns and have red and blue lights reserved for federal agents. Look it up. Maybe you should pull your head out of your asses and take a look. The police officers only deal with the school district and city of maize if needed. They serve ALL the schools in Maize. Also people that don't want to put up with the high schools bull crap are pot heads that don't care about education and only think about the short term effects. Most of the kids grades 6 and up do drugs. So if you think your kid doesn't do drugs, your probably wrong and should drug test them because the district doesn't. They seem to only test the 20% that are clean. Also yes the maize cops suck and only drive in a 3 mile sqaure radius. They get bored.

I hate the Maize Police Department. I have lived here for five years and have endured unrelenting harrassment! The mexican of which you speak is only the tip of the iceberg! I have been investigated for a empty envelope in the neightbors trash, had officers stop and ask persons leaving my house "Where's the Dope"? Had my door kicked in and my house searched with drug dogs, yeilding a seizure of a bag of tea. Yes, tea! Any petition floating around, let's make available. The entire city government needs to be accountable for allowing this to take place. A class action law suite sounds like a good idea to me.
