Lamunyon want to give 37th street north to Wichita. They want to use it for water rights!! It's going to up our water bills so much and the city of Wichita will slap us with a huge tax. There is a petition right now for that not to happen. Lamunyon is such a freakin idiot!!! He wanted Barsol; too. How do we get him out of office?

Too bad, what you don't understand is that a city manager does not arbitrarily make decisions for or without action of a city council. City managers, such as Mr. LaMunyon are directed by their respective councils to pursue and negotiate agreements on behalf of the city. The city council votes on and accepts agreements.

In the case of Barton solvents, they approached the city about re-location. In this case, the city manager takes the information to the council, they agree by consensus whether to proceed. If they proceed, the city manager negotiates the agreement for the city and takes it back to them for direction.

Instead of blaming "LaMunyon" or anyone for that matter, learn the rule of order for municipal government. The council by a majority vote approves or denies agreements, ordinances, etc.
