What a tragedy, especially at Christmas time. My daughter and I drove by this accident after all but the Nissan had been cleared. It is a miracle that anyone in that car got out alive. This stretch of road can be dangerous even in the best weather, and some drivers drive very fast on this road. My sympathies to the family of the driver who lost their life and I hope the other passengers pull through ok. While no mention is made of speed being a factor, I hope everyone will be careful when driving. On Hull Street, this usually means slowing down.

what a tragedy. My prayers to those who were involved and their families. This is the reason why I don't drive anywhere near the side of another car when road conditions are poor

MY PRAYERS GO TO THE FAMILY'S OF EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS ACCIDENT.
I AM SURPRISE THAT THE POLICE MENTION THAT THE ACCIDENT IS NOT WEATHER RELATED. THE ROAD WAS SNOW COVERED WITH ICE PATCHES.

It was the east bound lane of Hull Street, about 2 or so miles west of the Chesterfield Berry Farm market.

We arrived first on the scene of the accident - just wish we could find out how the lady was doing that they had to use the jaws of life on to get her out . My prayers go out to the families that were involved . We seen no ice on the road but No road is completely safe this time of the year . Everyone needs to just slow down and be safe .The man that lost his life today in that car could have been someones Father or some ones Brother I just feel so sorry for them . God bless you all and Please be safe.

This may not be what caused this accident but one problem prevalent in this area is vehicles that are driving in the left lane and going the same speed or slower than those in the right lane. This can create dangerous conditions when drivers in a hurry ride close to the back of the vehicle in front attempting to scare it into getting over. To keep you and your family safe, do not ride in the left lane unless you are passing traffic in the right lane or turning left in the next mile or so. Unfortunately there is no way to slow the irate drivers that feel you are blocking them in.

Hull Street Road is one of the most deadliest roads in the area. I have called VDOT and the engineer who is in control of the safety issues of this area without any luck. VDOT does not care, the State of Virginia does not care and Chesterfield County sure does not care.

I have been traveling this stretch of road for many years and there is not an intersection or stretch where there has not been a fatality.

My heart goes out to the families involved. Christmas is such a hard time to go through such tragedy. May God be with these families.

My daughter, grandson(5) & my daughters friend was in that SUV that got rear ended by the Nissan. My prayers are with the family that lost their lives, but I thank God that my family survived it. It could have been the other way around, I don't know what happened other than he hit my daughters car from behind and they did at least 3- 360's thank god my daughters friend was driving & kept control of the car, they could have been the ones wrapped around the tree. My son's family and my husband & I traveled the same road about (5) miles ahead of them and we did not seen any ice on the road.

we would like to help out the daughter of the lady who died at the hospital. Your mom was our co-worker and friend. She was proud of you and your new baby. If you need anything come to your moms job and ask for me or someone in our department.

i knew eddie most of my life. he was a good man. he wa like an uncle to me. i am saddened that such a sweet person had to be taken from us like this...without warning. this is tragic! my heart goes out to his family and everybody that was involved. you have to treasure what you have because you never know when it is going to be taken. Father God i ask that you give strength to the victims family and strength to those who were involved in the accident. help them through these rough and hard times. allow your glory to shine through this all and everyone will see you manifest yourself. we know he is in a better place and we will see him again on that glorious day. thank you for keeping his wife, daughter and step-daughters in jesus name i pray amen.
