I just want to be a role model and a provider for my family, and I feel like I’ve let you down,” he said.

REALLY? YOU KILLED SOMEONE. THAT PERSON DIDNT WANT TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILY?

What a stupid thing to say

White trash. Not like it was the first DUI or speeding ticket. Can only imagine the horrific scene that was getting hit by some drunk got 80. Laws need to be changed. He should have gotten a life sentence like the victims family did. He made the choice to drive drunk not once but twice. My heart goes out to that family.

You are quoting something he said to his family, I see nothing wrong with it. What should he have said if anything?

He also apologized to the Bulger family:“I want to apologize to the Bulger family,” he said, his voice cracking with emotion.“I acted immaturely and irresponsibly that night, and I’m truly sorry.”

Saying nothing at all to all parties would be callous and cold.

I have zero sympathy for this jerk. The victim's family recieved a life sentence, and this guy should get the same. An honorable, kind, responsible young man is dead, and we are supposed to give a shit what happens to the drunk? I'm glad he will be off the streets for while. I dont want to hear that he is remorseful, or that he is sober TODAY. 11 months ago he was a lousy irrisponsible drunk who killed my friend. Boo hoo for Jason. Dont sleep on your stomach in jail.
what would you say had he been a fire fighter who just saved 10lives and celebrated a little too carelessly and this had happened
. Justa hypothetical question that's all

There should be an outcry to ban cars like their is for guns. Both are deadly weapons in the wrong hands.

To answer your ridiculous question with as much tact as I can muster up, I would say the same thing to anyone, regardless of their status, position, of affiliation. Facts are facts, he is a killer. He used his car as a weapon and he should rot in jail. I dont care if he has kids, a job, a mortgage.... all I know is I won't ever get to see what Bry's kids would look like, I will never stand up in his wedding, or go on another fishing trip with him. I will NEVER get to even talk to my friend again. His mother will never get to hug him again. His niece and nephews have no uncle. I dont care what the jerk who killed him did.for a living, wether he was a war hero or euthanized puppiea. Doesnt matter.

I was in the courtroom yesterday & would like to say that the Bulger family conducted themselves with grace & dignity. They indeed respected the memory of Bryan. I cannot say the same for Rymut's family! His mother acted like a child, with her huffing & puffing comments throughout the proceedings. What a shameful display. I guess that the apple does not fall far from the tree!

I'm sure you don't have kids of your own and your probably using your moms computer. But if you do I hope they share the fate as this poor victim. One more thing, could you have your mom put my wallet in the mail box? I left it on her nightstand the other day thanks.
