We should all see what happened last night... Young man in his 20's wreckless driving down bristol pike said to be doing in excess of 80MPH in a red Cavalier. Said to be intoxicated... This is what we have been told. He is now in critical condition and not believed to make it. His car hit the curb, ran through 2 signs. Was airborn for a minimum of 30 feet before hitting a pole 5 to 6 feet in the air. 5 more vehicles were hit in the lot next to the sign pole after the vehicle wrapped itself around it. This should be an example to EVERYONE of what happens. This time no one else but the driver was injured but that is not how it usually turns out. All of the wreckless driving teens and young kids ... and adults for that matter who think they are able to drive fast because they are "cool" should see this. ALL IT TAKES IS A MOMENT TO END YOUR LIFE!!! and no one gets it.

Who are you-- to think you can comment on a subject, you know nothing about? Intoxicated?? Do you know that, because that is not accurate reporting? Are you a witness to the accident?

Don't mind him. It's probably just the Penndel Town Stalker. That's what he does - he stalks.

To whom it concerns your story is not excactly correct. This is his grandmother and my grandson was not intoxicated Why not look at his blood work before writing something you do not know. No one seen the accident so how can one say how fast my grandson was going. You write an article without all the facts.I like to know where you got your information on this accident. I think you need to do some footwork of your own before you make a good kid sound bad. If you remember it was raining really bad thursday into friday. How do any of us know if that didnot cause the accident. I want something written in the paper to apoligize to my grandson who is fighting for his life.

Well the police stated those facts. The intoxicated part I can see if that is not true but the speed has to be. Insted of worrying about minor details you should look at the purpose of the posting. People should talk to their kids and even adults that drive too fast need to see what can happen. God willing he will make it through and learn from mistakes. That is how we all learn in life ... By sight of what can happen or by experience. Take it for what it is, it does not matter if he was intoxicated that is not the point. The point is poor decisions. Good luck to your grandson and we all have prayers for him that he makes it and recovers 100%.

I just want you to know that you are a f**king idiot! If you are going to write something make sure you have the facts straight. You say that this post is not about drunk driving but yet you bring it up. This man was not tryin to be cool so I dont know what the hell you are talking about. The speed does not have to be true. It was raining and he could have lost contol. I would like to know why you said he flew over 30 feet. The marks on the ground and the pole that he hit is about 15 feet apart jack ass.Do yourself a favor and stick to your day job. I mean, thats if you even have one. asshole

First off JOHN.... you have no idea what you are talking about. I am good friends with this person who was hurt in the accident.... HE WILL MAKE IT.. i have seen him 4 times... he gets better every single day. It was pouring raining outside, that is a main reason why the accident happened, he was not intoxicated, as you can see his own grandmother stated that fact and there is proof. This man is not one to " try to be cool " he doesnt need to speed in his car to look cool. He's already cool no matter what. Yes people will be more cautious when they drive, BUT, this man DID NOT deserve it. AT ALL. So next time you wanna judge someone like this, make sure you know what the HELL you are talking about. People make poor decisions, and should learn from them.... but it doesnt mean that someone good like my friend deserves to be in this situation!!!!! My friend is going to make it. He's fighting hard, its working cause hes a strong guy and he's going to live and be normal in time! I love this kid so shut up and dont talk bad about him ever again. THANK YOU.
and " hate morons" who are you to say that his family is stupid?!?! just cause you saw where the accident was... doesnt mean you know the details. BYE

I understand why all these people are infuriated with you. I don't understand how you found out all of these facts, when his family called the police station almost everyday to find out information and did not for days after.. but you have "all the facts" the next day. Eighty miles an hours? If that was true, don't you think he would have died almost instantly if that were the case? Considering he suffered in his car until someone found him at 4am.. approximately 3 to 4 hours after the crash. And his vehicle was airborne at least 30 feet in the air? How would you know that if you did not see it.. and you obviously did not since he was in car car for a long time as stated before. And yes, my best friend is a example of what can happen if you hydroplane when it is pouring rain outside.. but he is in no way an example of what happens when you drink and drive. His blood-work came back and proved he was not intoxicated so again John, you are wrong. You may have gotten one thing correct in this article, and that is that my friend is without a doubt "cool". But if you are driving intoxicated going 80mph, you are not considered "cool" to anyone. You are considered a jackass. And he is believed to make it. He is the strongest person I know and he is getting through this just fine.. extremely well actually. So John, I agree that an apology is deserved to my friend and all of the people that you have hurt with this article you have written. It's hard enough to see my friend like this, and you sir are not making it any better.
P.S.- to "hate morons"- we are indeed not morons. Unless you are the person investigating this accident, and you know your facts other than "seeing the scene yourself", I consider you shut your mouth.

Doesn't anyone think that maybe the police shouldn't be giving these facts out because what john was told is the same thing that I tas told from the police. So maybe you should think about that.

I agree with john. My son passed away over a year ago being in the passanger seat of a car with someone driving wreckless. The small details aren't the point. That family is totally wrong and I didn't even see anything.
