A company as large as Toyota, should use a temp service. If the new temp decided he doesn't like the job, he can quit. And Toyota isn't out any time/money. And if you go through Kelly services, your time with them, is counted as time with Toyota when you are hired in. Temp services are a great way to weed out the bad, and bring in people who are honest and quality workers.
Stop trying to make things look bad. You can spin it however you want, but you are just bitter. Maybe you regret the time you've spent there. But it is honest work. And you should be happy with what you have. If not, I hear Detroit is a cheap place to live and nice this time of year.... Hahaha!

If you want to know what a union will do for you just look at Detroit. Manufacturers WILL move the jobs elsewhere. Get over the union pipe dreams and look at the reality of the world economy.

The Russian economy failed completely under communism. It is struggling to adapt to a capitalist system while still fighting off communist tendencies. What I am saying is Detrioit is the poster child for union influence in THIS country and look at it. Do you want it here? What happened in Detroit is more than just a recession which affected everyone.. It is easy to call my comments ignorant when you don't understand my experiences. I lived through union influence growing up and I can tell you first hand it is a cancer that will erode prosperity when it sets in. If you disagree with my rhetoric you could always move to Detroit and sign up for a union job if you feel that is less ignorant.

and you could move to china or russia and not worry about unions! there are ghost towns all over this country that have completely dried up because a particular industry was no longer prosperous. there use to be tobacco fields all over kentucky...did the union kill them also? facts are detroit made was a HUGE and thriving city for many many years!!!! they didnt become that way because a union and they didnt dry up because a union. i agree unions destroy prosperity of the few but greatly increase the prosperity of the mass

but what you cant tell us is what the situation would have been like if there was no union there?? you refuse to mention the prosperous 60+ yrs of middle class wages people enjoyed that would likely have never occurred if not for the unions. the unions are long gone now... tell us how much better off the city is now????

Why did the automotive industry leave Detroit? Why did Michigan lawmakers finally pass a right to work law? Why are you comparing our economy to China and Russia? Unions had a place back in the early 20th century before safety and labor laws were created to protect workers. Now they are useless drains on a competitive market.

if they are useless, explain why every major league sports team, most every police and firemen, nearly every state and gov worker and nearly every midfle class blue collar american still choose to utilize them? ford, gm, chrysler and gov workers have prospered for over 100 yrs utilizing a union. give us the names of your non-union examples that have flourished for that period of time!!!

They will never make a real profit until they pay back the taxpayer and the bond holders that got fleeced in the bailout. That will never happen. Try again.

Should GM and Chrysler pay back the taxpayer and bond holders? They are both hard working people.
