This is a nice dept. store but too expensive.. times are tough people. Especially with our economic situation as it is today.
A "Mervyn's" would have been better.. more affordable to many people who can't afford the high name brands.

Thank you, but for me, Gottschalks' is NOT expensive, and their quality is far superior to Mervyns'.

Good sales almost every day and by the way, Mervyns is closing it's doors so their way of doing business is going by the wayside.

I like the store and I like the clothes, but I just don't think I'd be able to afford any of there products. Times are hard and the money is low.

gottschalks does usually have some decent sales but with the cost of living not everyone can afford them.
