To each his/her own. I thought doctors' took an oath to treat all patients regardless of their personal preferences. I guess bigotry even has it's place in the medical world.

I think the title of the article is misleading. Technically this "man" has female reproductive organs capable of creating life. Big deal. We don't know all of the facts leading to why doctors do not want to treat this case. Maybe he/she is such a high risk due to the testosterone shots, etc. Who knows? There are two sides to each story...

Okay, he use to be a she and has he/she parts? Does this mean that he/she cheated on his wife? Since the wife obviously cannot impregnate her/him? If he stopped the shots, does that mean he doesnt want to be a man any longer? Do you think the reason his wife cannot get pregnant is because he is a she? I am so confused....and this story IS misleading.

Having chest reconstruction and testosterone injections doesn't turn a woman into a man any more than having horns implanted would turn someone into a goat. Even if the female reproductive organs were removed and a male organ-like structure was built it still doesn't change the fact that there are two X chromosomes in her body.

Such a misleading story. She isn't a man simply because she had surgery to remove the female parts and takes testosterone therapy. She is a surgically altered female, just like a chick with a d*ck is just a surgically altered male, not a woman.
