Greetings fellow Bend residents! My name is Joshua Inayat, and I am the founder of the Central Oregon Paranormal Society. Also known as C.O.P.S for short. Go ahead, chuckle! I did!

If you or anyone you know has experienced a haunting, or has needed help with one, you don't have to look outside the area anymore. Before, you'd have to call in a team of strangers from Portland or Eugene.

Not anymore! More than that, we have a local website with real answers; cutting edge paranormal science and theory. Nothing outdated that you'll find in other peoples books or websites.

I am inviting you to meet me and my time via the forums on the website ( www.centraloregonparanormal.org ) or to email me ([email protected] l.org) if you have any questions or concerns.

I am working on setting up a community gathering with the local media so that we can introduce ourselves and show you our equipment and techniques.

In the mean time, don't worry about the bumps in the night. If anything becomes a problem, there's a local team of experts just an e-mail away!

Hello,
I move into my rental home about 4 months ago, since the begining things have been happening but more so since I started talking directly to it.there have been streeks of light smoky orb things, shadows, voices, the house will rumble beds shake things move or ore placed differnt than how I left them, but the worst is the almost constant feeling of some one standing behind me.my hair hs been lifted 3 times I have been touched and pulled. the final straw, and I am moving now. I saw a face looking at me through the back door. I was just informed a few days ago the 3 people a father and 2 sons had died from carbopn monixoide a few years ago ..when I started telling my neighbor and friends about this happening to me they told me about the deaths. I am moving in 30 days asap and will not being staying hear anymore so this place will be free if you know any one who wants to invastigate before my lease is up you can contact me at [email protected] I live in Cuba Mo.

Just out of curiosity what are your credentials? I have dabbled in the paranormal for years. I have stayed in purported haunted castles overseas, but I have not experienced a thing. Although there are people whose minds lend themselves to experiencing the paranormal, and thus they may say a place is haunted, while others may say the opposite. Oh still, this all is fascinating and I hope to truly have a paranormal experience some day. Given the amount of time I have spent reading about the paranormal, different types of entities, spirits and demons, would this give me the background to set up shop as a paranormal investigator. I could easily buy equipment on some of the well known ghost study web sites. Is this what you are doing. How did you acquire your credentials to be a paranormal investigator? I know of actually of one person to have a Ph.D. in parapsychology from an accredited U.S. university (see 1st link). He is truly unique. As far as certifying paranormal investigators, there are no accredited universities I know of that will even touch this.

A quick search seems to indicate that individual ghost hunter organizations may offer their own certification programs, so it's a very informal thing (see 2nd link). However, I did find that Flamel College (I like to call it Flim-Flamel College) does have a certification course (see 3rd link). It's a far cry from accredited, though.
