Lakes are dangerous, they should all be drained so no more people drown

Okay, first safety rule Daddy taught us concerning the lake, no fishing alone, no anything near the water alone. But guess he couldn't be everywhere. So sad to hear another life is lost at a lake in the Texas summertime. Happens every year, no matter what anyone does to warn folks. Please be careful out there!

I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of Christopher Kopper.
I know how difficult this must be for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My brother was there just 2 weeks earlier.

I don't know how people can swim in that lake anyway. It's disgusting.

Chris had a seizure. He was not swimming in the lake. He was waiting for his cousins to meet him there to fish and they were only approximately 2 minutes away. They had just spoke to him on his cell phone.

Thanks #5. And #6 #7 and #8 are correct, and it not like he can control his seizures. Some folks have no common sense, and no sympathy!!
