It is always some one else to blame. Take your share of the responsibility "Coach" you failed these kids. You had two of the forementioned penalty flags, and you and your staff are supposed to ensure your team is able to make the grade. While Alaniz's accions are regretable, your failure to supervise and lead this team is simply unacceptable. You are a disgrace to the coaching profession. Seek a job else where, outside the education field, because clearly you don't belong there.

Trust me, he is blackballed in the coaching community. Problem is that some of the school board who played for his father support him. It's catching up to the head coach. What he needs to do first is take care of his own personal health. Always remember, those kids are not going to be teenagers forever. Teach life lesson too head coach. You are a joke! Channel 3 took your bluff and still showed your pathetic self.

Coach shares his part of the responsibility of building a good program. He would rather you blame him than the kids. I commend each player for taking care of their classroom responsibilities. And they fought to the end. Yes, Andres' mistake was regretable. It's a life lesson he has to overcome. Coach shouldn't have to hold these boys hands every minute. He will fight for each and everyone of his players. HE SUPPORTS THEM when no one else will. Two flags can never out trump 8 starters for not passing. It's just a speed bump.

Yes you are right....the team put on a good show for us....I am proud of their performance on that field....but to go as far as to say this is a good program is a bit far fetched....where is the dicipline on and off the field....I don't see how playing favorites with the better athletes makes this a great program. This is the consequece of overlooking kids flaws only to get them to perform on the field. As a coach I always hold my better athletes to higher standards for they are supposed to be the leaders on and off the field, not the other way around.

Well the Coaches in Ben Bolt dont even Drug Test these boys they say they do but if the boy is good and coach wants to keep him he says he drug tested him and really didnt and thats a proven fact...He did it to someone related to me. The coaches in Ben Bolt only take care of who they want and do for the ones they want and they should treat every kid the same. Its sad but true.

In response to some of your post!! First of all the athletic director is half Hispanic so saying that he is against Hispanics get your story straight!! Second this altercation could have taken place anywhere in the classroom, halls, et cetera so why is it that you are wanting to blame the coach!! These coaches do drug test!!! You are going off of here say!! Since it was one of your family members who evidently was one who played while on drugs come forward and give the players name!! When I was in school it was my responsibility to keep up with my grades I didn't have my coaches holding my Hand babysitting me!! Why should the athletic director speak on camera he doesn't have to and so what if K 3 called his "bluff" big deal it's the media

Wow, people really don't know how to appreciate a coach that works hard and tries to put his team at the top. This reflects those people how they themselves don't know what hard work is. This man Coach Lefevre is a wonderful human being trying to make a living and improving Ben Bolt as a school (this goes the same for all the coaches) what Andres did was something out of pure frustration. I'm sorry to say this but stuff happens, with all these starters failing and the assault charges on Andres, there just kids that have a dream and there dream is to win a State Championship in 1A Ben Bolt football.

Haven't you ever heard watch what you say cause karma can get you!! You are a coach and as a professional you should be acting like one!!! Nobody is perfect and you seem to have forgotten that! Yes the better athletes are to lead by example and Alaniz should have thought about what he was doing like not getting in a fight 3 days before a playoff game but you seem to think it's the coaches fault??? The athletic director can teach right and wrong but cannot make the decisions for them!! I hope sa fan you never run into this kind of situation as a coach but it will and when it does you will think about your post!! Now go be a professional and coach your team you want to say the ben bolt coach need to find a new profession looks like you need to as well you are acting just like the Ben bolt coach!!!

Oh most definitely agreeable the coaches are TOTALLLLLYYYY responsible for the actions of ALLLL their players. Are you f-ng kidding me?! The coaches are not responsible for how they act. The coach's job is to coach football. For someone that "needs to get fired" they obviously don't know what their doing. I mean right?!? Three Bi District Champ wins back to back for three years straight. Yeah..The AD doesn't know what he's doing. HELLLOOO you skanks!! The coaches allow the players/students to become of their own free will. You make a bad decision YOU SUFFER the CONSEQUENCES. What would any of you all know of what the coaches actually preach to the students/players. NOTHING. I mean it has to be all bad. I mean right?!? DUM AZZ!! You don't know anything. Now about this whole thing with Andres...it was a locker fight that's ALL IT WAS!!! Everyone is making it seem like Andres bullied the kid and beat him to a pulp. If you mess with a dog and mess with it and mess with it and mess with it eventually it's gonna bite you and tear you a new one. That's obviously what happened here. For what reason or obligation would a good person/all star athlete/good student like Andres do something completely brash and risky like this??? K3 and everyone else is making this BS soooo big!!! You all are the definition and the reason why this saying exists "IGNORANCE IS BLISS"

You are absolutely right. The coach should take responsibility. The athletes are only as good as their leader. It is apparent a good example is not being set for the students. Yelling, demeaning students, cheating, etc. never results in anything good. Some of the coaches are not good role models for the kids in that district. Some do not belong in education. The athletic director is definitely a disgrace to the coaching profession. He has no clue how to manage other coaches and serve as a positive role model for the students. The incident would have never happened if the coaches had provided good supervision on a regular basis and had taught the players ethics, responsibility, commitment, pride, etc.
