My sister is a nurse and she worked with Dr. Smith for years. It's impossible to believe the charges against him are true. I think it's all about money, and this woman will be punished for the lies and trouble she has caused. Maybe not in this world, but the next! He is an incredible doctor, and I hope he doesn't have to suffer anymore than he already has from this.

I have to say when I heard the news I really didn't want to lose a good Doctor. I do believe the ladies though. He pretended to listen to my heart to make my daughter more comfortable to be examined. It wasn't a direct grab of the breast but it was just the way he touched me with his hand more than the stethoscope. I overlooked this but did mention to my husband that it made me feel uncomfortable. This only happened once and he never touched me in that manner again. I still have continued to take the children to him and I am always with them. We live in such a rural area it is hard to find a good physician and there is no doubt about him being a very good physician. He is the only physician around that will test for everything when they are sick and administer antibiotic if needed. If something more than what I experienced happened then you can't blame a victim. I wouldn't post mean things about the women because you don't know what might have happened when there is a closed door. My experience was minor and maybe just an odd feeling about the situation, but the ladies testimonies should be heard. I really do hate that this has happened.

Knowing Dr. Smith several years, the accusations against him sickens me. This is a compassionate doctor who truly cares for his patients and is willing to help anyone regardless of their ability to pay for services. He has treated myself and several members of my family and never gave any reason to think of such accusations against him. He is a honest, faithful, and loyal physician who treats patients because of the love of medicine, not money. No body else has come forward with the same threats? He is a married man with a good practice and the accuser is looking for a quick buck.(My opinion) If she ruins this doctor, she will take away so much more from our community and with the other comments posted here, she probably will not be well liked in this town.

And if the allegations are true? Then what? Do the victims just run away and hide because, as one of the posters said, they "probably will not be well liked in this town"? You were NOT there. Neither was I. We have a system in place where truth is likely to come out and hopefully either an innocent man will be vindicated or a guilty man prosecuted. But stop finding the victim guilty before she has a chance to present her case!

I experienced the same thing. I took my daughter there for an ear infection. She was sitting on my lap and he kept going out of his way to rub my breast. Then he started sommenting on my eyes. Made me very uncomfortable. I told other family memebers about this before this one came out of the works. I believe it!
