Yes, the artwork was originally a pen and ink drawing that I did about 20 years ago, then I digitized it and colorized it on the computer in Photoshop.<quoted text>
Hi! Thanks for your kind comments. I do try and back up my opinions with facts and sources, and when I can - a little humor:) I am relatively new to the forum (although not Marin)- my first post was in early June - and I had not seen anyone else using this name before. Strange with that isp thing. Most of my posts say isp Mill Valley, although my last one said United States and I have seen San Rafael before. The e-mail address that I listed with this site is through a Berkeley company - although my current internet service is through Comcast - in San Rafael. I like your art work - is there a story behind it?
The thought occured to me that maybe you never saw any of the other posts using that same screen name by my friend. You both think along the same lines.
I also like to inject humor into some posts, it is good for people to laugh at the BS going on in the world today. Sometimes it is hard to find humor, but it is there. The problem is with some people, they are uptight and hate it when people post facts like US census reports. I can't wait until the 2010 census is published because the results will help determine the need (if any) for more commuter apartments up north, the desalination plant proposal and expensive diesel trains for the Sonoma commuters.
I will have a talk with my friend today again about screen names, these forums need smart people like you and him to post interesting information. Don't let anyone else try and drag you down to their low levels and try and bad vibe you out. Some are mentally challenged and even the powerful drugs that they take can't help them, so they take it out on other posters.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to many more great posts from you, thanks again.
