who is PacRim? Are they an American company? Who decides how aggressive a timeline a developer can move a project? What do we know about the impact of this coal mining project. Where will all the toxic water be dumped--into the Inlet? I can not find very many folks who have even heard about the Beluga Coal field let alone developement in open pit mining 65 air miles from Anch. What about the coal dust blowing to Anchorage? Any one out there know who really is really behind this project?

I`m from Russian Far-East. And want to tell that there will be lignite deposits development soon. Of course, a few people understand of ecological safity. But anyway all oil, coal fields on the Earth will be developed sooner or later. it`s time question.
