And the "Victim" was Rachelle Pitman. The soldier was driving the wrong way, not her.

Yes, there seems to be some confusion about who the victim is here. The victim is my 23 year old daughter that was hit head on by a man that was driving in the wrong direction. She never had a chance. She left behind siblings, parents and other family that grieve everyday for our loss. She was the child of a 21 year veteran of the armed forces. She was a beautiful, kind and compassionate girl with lots of dreams. She will never be a wife or a mother. She will not get to watch her young brother grow up or see her other brother fulfill his dreams of a career in the military. Her death is so senseless and I will never be the same without her.

Soldiers these days dont have any sense. They all want a pat on the back for doing their job. When I was in it was understood you had a job to do and it could get you killed at any time. Go on fort hood any day of the week and you will see soldiers that dont even look both ways before crossing the street. The heros are the ones that do their jobs and move on. So sorry for your loss.
