they are very cult-like. which is unfortunate because a lot of JWs are really great people who believe they're doing the Lord's work, but in reality they have been brainwashed by their elders and a religion that does not let them think for themselves or outside of the JW box. If you're not a JW, you're basically not going to live heaven on earth, you will simply not exist (since they don't believe in hell).

I don't have to worry about it. I've been placed in the Jehovah Witness Protection Program. Now they don't bother me or ring my door bell trying to hand me their propaganda materials!

ALL religions are cult-like by definition.

you do have to admire their conviction though, can you think of any reason you would go door to door and take the abuse these poor fool endure? wow.

now as far as the brain washed thing, i wouldn’t go throwing that around if you are a Christian either. Walking dead guys, talking snakes, disappearing people, people living in "the sky" with some god man...hell there is tons of stuff the normal Christian just believes that is mind numbing to me.

man is no different now in their religious believes that they were 3,000 years ago. Greek and roman mythology is no more far fetched that main stream religions of to day.

no, im not an atheist, but i understand humans and how the religions have little to do with God.

Hey Topochicp.Want to tease a Jehovah Witness when you see them out in the street?

When they approach you,ask them "Would you climb on top of the Tower if Jehovah, ask you to,in the name of him?","Do anything in the name of Jehovah?"

Wait till they answer "Yes"

Ask them "You climbed, and made to the top of the Tower"

Ask them "If Jehovah say's,JUMP" "In the name of Jehovah?"

See how they react,I pulled one off,at the gas staion while filling gas.

They "FREEZED-UP"

Try it,it's fun.

You know what is ironic? We had a few JW's at my old job, they did not partake in any Holiday festivities becuase it was against their religion. They did however accept a "CHRISTMAS BONUS."

It's horrible to see how bad yall talk about ppl that use only the holy scriputures to live their lifes. Perhaps it would be to yall's advantage to see who has the most accurte translations of the original scriptures. As for jumping off a building for Jehova you simply don't have to worry about that, as a loving father i would never ask my kids to do that and i'm not perfect, but jehova is perfect and alot more loving then it is clear he wouldn't ever ask that of any human. But if you recall it was Satan that dared Jesus to hurl himself off the battlement of the temple (about 700 ft tall)to prove he was the son of god. Then Jesue told him in Matt4:7 you must not put Jehova your god to the test... Anyways, ppl that talk bad about Jehova's ppl just goes to prove that that what jesus said in john 15:17-19 is true look it up and you'll be suprised of what your doing... Also if you would like to know more about god and his purpose just email me at deerbreederpro2006@yahoo.com i would be pleased to studie the bible with you.

I agree, leave Paul Diaz alone! He drives his cab around and does'nt bother anybody. He has more experience than all those Gypsy Cops who like to bash his good name on Topix.
