Doughnut chain lets local ice cream.....
As long as they don't start peddling doughnuts, it looks like Chrissy and Jack Hoover will be able to do business as usual under their Krispy Kream Drive-in sign.

I could not believe the argument over the small town's Drive In use of the name "Krispy Kreme". I have only known this name since i've been a small child and live thousands of miles away..and yet i must visit there on each trip to PA for their wonderful soft ice cream...and a pizza burger that was out of this world...I can't imagine a name change and i can't imagine them selling doughnuts...i also went to see their mascot cow (cow's don't make doughnuts, lol). Anyways, it was always a treat for us at least once a week for father and mother to take us to the Krispy Kreme. And, that was the only place in town, as a young adolescent we could sneak off too and meet and just hang out with our friends. So many good memories..why destroy nastalgia??? Oh, i am 47 years old now and still enjoy the childhood feel that the Drive In holds.
