Wow could we not find someone who has had a real job. These people are pie in the sky and let the taxpayer pay for it all. Just like council its only open to social workers and government employees who loose in the last election. No hope!

The usual formula for appointing Democrats. -minorities -party political hacks -never worked in the public sector -gay or lesbian -clueless -appointed versus elected The beat goes on in Columbus. Yeah fresh faces to the same old. How soon will Council and Coleman beg for more tax hikes.

I have a new idea. Dump the entire columbus city school board. Their motto today must read: We produce the most unproductive, unmotivated and uneducated citizens in America. What has been done to our schools over the 35 years is a travesty and a total failure. What a great public education system we are forced to payfor and the end product is even more costly.

I just love this concept of "real jobs." What on earth does that mean? Sounds like a way to discount the experience of otherwise qualified people.

Please wait...
Whenever business people are nominated, people on here rant against how they ran their businesses. The real solution to this problem isn't wards or any of that nonsense. It's special elections to fill vacancies and elimination of the appointment process altogether. That requires a change to the City Charter. That should be the focus of those who are annoyed by the current process.
