Times are tough. Re-educate or relocate. The Beloit Janesville area is a difficult place to earn enough to feed a family, pay a mortgage, car payment, buy food and drink; without a degree of some kind.
Lobby for TRA/TAA funding at your workplace or former workplace. The Bill,(signed by Nixon) has paved the way for hundreds of thousands of laid off Steelworkers, Machinists, Electricians and laborers to better employment and benefits. If you can get a CDL you can find work on a Semi Tractor Trailer...do not sit on your butt and whine, the Gulf beach in Alabama is full of Yankee whiners who would not or could not find a way into the classroom after they lost their jobs...Been there and done that. Good luck and Godspeed, the reefrunner

Oh and it's gonna get tougher. If ya thought you were safe in some medical facility...watch out. Turns out some didn't count costs well or have the ability to read the signs and plan accordingly. Yep, mgmt effed up. You may be waiting a bit until that new facility opens. Save save save. Good luck.
