When it is over(assuming my house has not burned to the ground)I will have to remove other peoples trash from my roof, gutters and landscaping.Because so many people are participating,no one is accountable.Legitimate complaint.

You had better be ready to get to work, I just bought 500.00 worth of fireworks and we are going to have one heck of a fireworks party.

You wont need to pick up anything. I do my best to clean up everything up the next day. After my BIG fireworks party if any of my stuff is on your house or yard just let me know and I'll take care of it. And then we can have a ice cold home brew,

Went to see the fireworks in Beloit last evening. I noticed that the "crackdown" wasn't having much of an effect on private parties shooting off stuff. There were quite a few persons shooting bottle rockets and such in Riverside Park, and I saw not one Beloit police officer during the whole evening.

The laws prohibiting fireworks ought to be repealed, and replaced with insistence that people using them be responsible for both cleanup and for any damage or injury they cause.

It's way too easy to pass yet another law "prohibiting" some act or the possession of some item that will be ignored by the people, requiring yet another "crackdown" which at the best is ineffective, and at worst further erodes the public's opinion of the police charged with enforcing the latest stupid "feel good" law.

Now that I have the soapbox, how about a Constitutional amendment that anyone who claims to be a "legislator" be forever barred from holding public office? We need people in the Capitol working on things like balancing the budget and protecting the rights of Wisconsinites to live free, not professional law makers.

In South vs Maryland, 59 US 396 (1855) that government has no obligation to protect anyone, even from crime!

You cannot sue the police or government if you are the victim of a crime which they could have stopped or prevented.

Gun laws and fireworks laws only exist to create jobs for public servants.

NO ONE has a right to safety, and no one has a right to a job as a public servant, unless laws are enacted that infringe the rights of the People.

Why don't some people pick up their trash? I see on Flathead Rd. Just off the the main road where someone was shooting off fireworks, After having a good time they just drive off and leave all their junk and spent fireworks (allot of them) for someone else to clean up. If you can pack it in you can pack it out, Take some trash bags or a trash can with you.

Don't these people understand that anti fireworks sissies Will use this and a few other things to ban fireworks. You must like fireworks or you wouldn't be shooting them off. But I'll bet people that cause them to be ban will be the first ones to whine piss and moan if and when they should be ban. So don't give these anti fireworks sissies the ammunition they need.

Pick up your trash and be safe.

Sure did. Got to keep the sissies happy.

It only took about 10 minuets, Guess that would been to hard for the people that shot them off to have cleaned up their mess.
I did that so the anti firework sissies wont have anything to whine about.
