No citation for hitting someone? What? What if he died? Is the driver a cop too? Is that the real reason for no ticket?

Good "Ole boy treatment - anyone else would / should have received a citation. Its the Law!

If I were the crossing guard I'd be pissed he got no ticket. If the sun is blinding you that bad then stop the car! I think the driver is a policeman in Lowell. Why is he above the law? I know I would have got a ticket and probably taken to jail! Wonder if anybody checked his phone log to see if he was using it at the time of the accident?
