who's watching the children?

Local Belmont child care facility about to be publicly exposed because of their cover-up mentality. Seriously bad decisions have been made and state laws have been broken. Also, being a church center, the impact is sure to be wide spread and damaging. If you have a child in this type of facility, maybe you should demand to know who is watching the children?

Brace for some lousy and unlawful decisions made by the Child care office to be made public soon. A very bad situation. The State was called in this week due to complaints from employees, parents, and third party individuals. The reporting employees were terminated but not about to keep quiet. The State will be returning this week due to even more serious reports.

How will these so called "lousy and unlawful decisions" be made public? I have a child there and have been very pleased with the day school. This sounds like a disgruntled parent blowing smoke.

A church runs a day care for the love of children and the love of Christ. Others are simply run for profit. My children went here and could not have been more lovingly cared for and educated. I hope these libelous allegations are proved unfounded and untrue. It sounds like the a case to me of a disgruntled employee. Sad, to slander the name of a good church run day care program. Sad day indeed.

I think this is just a miss understanding. I have a child there and they seem very happy. Like John said "It sounds like the case to me of a disgruntled employee",

My son is there and I never had any problems from any of his teachers. I cannot comment on office staff and cover ups but I know there are loving teachers in the school, and the one's that are no longer there are gone for a good reason. You shouldn't blow smoke against others because you are angry, prove what you say first.

I am a staff member at this facility. I must say this is a well run center. Both administrators are very loving and caring ladies. They do a great job and no laws have ever been broken. I know that this is coming from an angry staff member. I wish this person would really take time out from the busy day and remember that all the staff members that you onced worked with still work here. It just amazes me that everything was fine while you were here and now that you are gone there are some many issues. Please take what happened to you and apply it someone where else and let us get back to the children.

My little guy has been here for almost 18 months. I have had experience with other centers in the area and FPWDS is by far the best out there from the front office all the way down to the nice lady that cleans the building. My son has had 8 teachers there since he started (they rotate in 6 month age increments) and I can tell you that each and everyone of them have been outstanding. It is really sad when a few bad apples can try to spoil the bunch. And lets also remember throwing false accusations is wrong on so many fronts. Please allow this awesome daycare get back to what they do best and that is take care of my son and so many other children. If you as an employee have issues with your treatment, look at yourself before you start throwing rocks at others. What comes around goes around! As parents we will rally behind the staff at FPWDS before allowing ourselves to be pulled into a disgruntled employee issues.

The Pastor and Board members are well aware of the allegations which were documented and are being investigated at this time. They had a big meeting tonight to discuss what to do about the very troubling decisions made by the directors. It is not a disgruntled employee but a very outspoken advocate of the children. The facts will be made public soon. There will not be happy parents when it's all over. The teachers are very loving but this isn't concerning the teachers. The State has also been notified and are investigating. Before you jump to conclusions, wait until you hear the facts. And see who's terminated when it's concluded.

Al ligations? Why are you online slandering the church over allegations? Why not SHUT YOUR MOUTH until the "facts come out"?

The facts are known and out. It's the parents who are the last to know. The staff knows, the Pastor and the Board knows. They are deciding what to do at this time. Shut my Mouth? Geez, this stuff is documented already. The directors did not follow the law in notifying parents of abuse by a teacher that was DOCUMENTED back in May 2009. Now, if these children happen to be yours, how would you feel? The teacher did her job in reporting it to the director, the offending teacher WAS terminated, but the parents were never notified. The parents choice was taken away from them as to how they would prefer to handle the situation. And this is just one example. Nevermind that all the other children in the class witnessed the ordeal.

I try to put myself in the place of parents. If I don't feel something is right then I speak up. State law also dictates that the State must be notified as well as the parents of the victims. Neither were in this case. If the parents of Belmont children don't care and choose to "rally behind the staff" then thats okay. At least now they can be included on the choice instead of having it made for them.

If you work there then you know there is plenty that is not right. You are job scared like the rest of them. the leadership there is a joke and you know it. you just don't have the guts to do anything about it but gripe among yourselves and bring the morale down for everybody.

there is h1n1 down there that the teacher kids have and nobody been told. them kids and their teacher mommies are at work ever day. the other kids can get it too. that aint right either.
