The votes have been tallied! No more street parking in Southpoint Ridge. Guess all you folks will have to clean out those garages and put the old vehicles in the garage or driveway where they belong. No more dodging parked cars!

Also, what happens when South Point has their next home football game?

This is incorrect information. As long as the city as no parking signs up that say no parking this side of street, then I am going to park on the curb in front of my house. Its my right. Until then this is BS BOB saying have a nice day.

Came in the mail on Friday. I would contact Bumgardner for the info. I don't think parking for the game would apply. This is for residents who park in front of their house everyday.

You have deep seated issues. Get help before they destroy you.

Did they establish what the fine would be?

If not, you could be getting a lot of nasty letters, which you can easily ignore.

I have talked to several of my neighbors who read the same notice and all of us have come to the conclusion that nothing was passed, so it looks like people can still park on the street.....

We didn't understand it either so we called Bumgardner and they said no parking and no portable basketball goals. Said they would be sending out letters to people who park on the street

Bumgardner was the "it guy" in another sub-division here in belmont and sometimes the letters don't diddly! Eventually--they did after a year or so with the threat of being fined. That did put the fire under most of the residents

Well, hopefully they will stick to their guns this time and enforce some of these covenants. The covenants were the reason we moved there in the first place.

I hope the HOA has plenty of money because I am prepared to drag this through the legal system for as long as it takes. I have a right to park my vehicle where I want as long as it is not blocking traffic. See you in court!! Have a nice day!!

The rules were you could NEVER park on the street or have the portable goals. They always were the rules.

The vote was to lift these and allow the goals and on street parking. So you're correct, the vote didn't pass to allow these, and now they'll be strictly enforced.
