Judging by your comments you guys really really REALLY need girlfriends.
I don't know much of Ryan, but I am sure he will do just fine and seems to have a decent track record of making responsible decisions.
I did watch his acceptance speech at the clubhouse and he made a comment that I thought was highly applicable to this thread.
Equal opportunity does not mean equal outcomes. Pretty intelligent gentlemen from what I have observed so far.
If you think Americans have equal outcomes, you are blind as a bat.
That is the sort of extreme false exaggerations that Ryan is constantly spewing. I see he knows the republicans cannot win without constant lies. This proves the party has nothing good to offer.

What do republicans watch more of, NASCAR or golf? The two whitest sports in history.

Ryan is an extremist. America is moderate. At least he is not like Palin.

Ryan fights for the rich and takes from the poor. Reverse Robin Hood.

You are right Waco; the working classes are under attack and have always been. But more important free people, Americans are under attack. Both from people who call themselves Dems and the Reps as well as from people who just want to use the government to steal from others.
I have calluses and dirt on my hands I work for a living. I have no use for freeloaders or slacker. I have no use for people who call themselves a government and try to tell me how to live, where to live, or who to like or dislike.
I have been knock down many times and the only thing the government does is make it harder to recover. Less govenment is good.
People can try to hang a tag around my neck and call me this or that but I only throw it to the ground and walk on. Freedom is worth fighting fore.

Ryan's father died when he was 16 and Social Security paid for him to live and pay for his education.
Oh those horrible socialist programs.

What are you looking out for? To use the government to punish whites? Or to Free load on working people? Maybe to just to protect your Communist ideas.
NASCAR and golf people work hard to set up these events. Why do you hate them for working to provide for their families?

Ryan has learned that he can peck around the rear ends of the rich and get money out of their droppings. That is why he wants to end social security for others--- after it save his hide.

You put a lot of words into my mouth. None of which are my thoughts. Typical republic tactic. If you cannot win on truth, lie. That seems to be the theme of republicans.

I couldn't help but notice all the ritual and glory the Republicans like to display at the introduction of Ryan on the USS Wisconsin. They wave the flag and play the patriotic music in ceremonial fashion while in the back rooms they limit the cause of freedom to many citizens, and try to suppress their right to vote in any way they can. This was another Pharissical display of their blatent hypocrisy and phoniness. Romney and Ryan are the poster boys of the 21st Century Pharisees.

Can we be critical of Tiger Woods for his multiple acts of adultry in marriage, or do we continue to praise him for his ability to hit a little white ball? Those seem to be the Republican "family values" in golf? Taxpayer, you seem to be typical. In what way are whites being 'punished?'

Are you implying he was not entitled to those benefits?

Did his father not pay into the very same system you and I pay into?

I receive statements all the time stating exactly how much my young children would receive in the event of my death based on what I paid in. It is irrelevant my net worth or what I can afford.

The money holds very little value to the loss of a father. But I see you chose to look right past that in order to criticize the recipient.

You seem to like those benefits when they benefit one of your own, but critical of them when they benefit others in need. Just following the Republican creedo, I guess.

You are so quick to catoragize others. I for one am for 100% privatized retirement. You should now by now I have NO confidence in the government wisely investing the money of the American people.

Jealousy rearing it's ugly head. Don't hate me or other Republicans because you have no wealth or failed to manage your wealth wisely.

Perhaps a change in careers might jump start and improve your financial posture in life. It may also bring you some happiness and joy.

Probably not, but just maybe.

Whitest sports? Now that is funny. There are spooks playing hockey these days too. Doesn't mean I am a fan of them.

And your opinion on Ryan being an extremist. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. Don't know enough about him to make an informed opinion one way or the other. His acceptace speech, I obseved him to be well manned, articulate and supportive of Romney. As he should be.

There will be plenty of time in the future to debate politics when the political debates ensue.

My point was is everyone is afforded the same opportunities in America to achieve sucess. But they are also subject to failure as well.

Like the Democrat ideology. They want everyone to win. The "win-win" philosophy from the special olympics. Fact is some win and some loose. That is the reality that democrats refuse to accept.

Then what exactly is your point? Jealous because you can't afford the same opportunity as others or do you really suck at life that bad??

I support 100% privatized retirement as well. It is your responsibility to plan for yourself and should not be left to the government to plan your retirement.

Clearly, everyone has an opportunity to achieve sucess. To what degree is relevant to the individual. But if you want a nice home, boat, the ability to go to the PGA championships that is set in a rather exclusive background, then you should be working for that now and working the right job instead of an occupation to pay the bills. But again, the degree of sucess is up to the individual.

Perhaps if people spent as much time focusing on themselves as they do on others, people might be further ahead as a whole and there might even be less problems.

I agree. Affimative Action has produced equal results for many minorites who otherwise would have not received the opportunity. Thanks to Mr. Ryan for confirming that.
