Not surprised.... run down location. But - beyond that - I ate there a few times and just stopped going. The food was just OK but the atmosphere was not good. They were friendly enough but you felt .like you were sitting on top of people in there. And, their kids were always jumping around the room and spread out over a few tables. Just wasn't comfortable.

Sad to see them go. They were nice people, and I hope they have moved onto better things.

That strip mall is so badly run down though, that it is a challenge to run a successful eatery there.

I always loved Mot's and they were nicer than anyone around. I know they always said they wanted to move somewhere of their own. I hoped maybe that had happened.

that strip mall was hideous and did nothing for mot's or those few nice mill houses/ little strip of houses right before mot's. that entire east side brings down the value in those handful of houses. entire area should be condemned.

Agreed that those strip malls bring down values, although condemning the buildings in that area would be a bit harsh.

IMHO: Fining owners of blighted commercial buildiings should be considered.

Although if I were an owner of one of those commercial buildings, I would insist on some traffic changes that might not be very popular, so I can see this being a stand off until Montcross decides what they want to do with all that land East of Acme road.

There is no exhaust hood in that space and it would be very difficult to put one in, so anything like wings would have to be pre-fried. As bad as frozen pizza dough!

Don't post if you don't know what you're talking about. Stick to selling houses, obviously you don't sell anything, as much as you post on here. Get a life.
