The Fins being that flat for a must win...I wonder how many times Tannehill has played under uncomfortable weather.Last 12 hours have been a mix of rain and ice...Had a couple of trees taken down last fall ..I was afraid of an ice storm and these trees could do damage..A third tree was left alone..a couple of good sized branches came down off that tree...The colorado State Win over Washington State was amazing....The Tulane v. Louisiana was a great game too. Joe Montana's kid is the Tulane QB
Patriots are beating the Ravens looks like no one wants that last playoff spot

Yes, both the Fins and Bears looked totally listless.....Only thing about Tannehill, i think he played at Texas Tech, which likely had some inclimate weather....plus it was'nt that bad there.....it was 71 in NYC yesterday....Stoked about Peyton's record 51 TD's...plus he has one more game....Giants-Lions game was a mirage, just because it went to overtime, both Qb's played like they did'nt wanna win....Something seem's really wrong with Eli?.....Seattle lost at home and that game was very physical....Cards are underrated.....Hard to imagine, all those people up north losing their power.....We opened the house, but the last two days have been uncomfortably warm, tomorrow is supposed to cool down, Thank God.....BTW, only 2 cigarettes left.....that is probably a good thing...lol...

The Cards are very under-rated...Thier biggest problem is being in the same Division as 49ers and Seahawks...if they make the playoffs they could suprise everyone...Cutler must go...McCown isn't the answer either..That team is a QB away from being a contender...If Teddy Bridgewater is available the Bears would be nuts not to grab him.
Eli is proving that even Mannings are human...I think that he could use a change...maybe a trade to the Bears?..lol
You are taking a risk with those Kool's ...It didn't take long to go through that pack....There were people in this area that lost power... A few years back we had an epic ice storm and we were without power for 5 days...
Speaking of roast beast...The wife went and saw a stage version of "The Grinch"...She said the kids in the production were awesome...

If i was Tom Coughlin, i might just retire, after this season....he is getting up there, and has won two SB's.....i think injuries to their O-line had alot to do with their sucky season.....Only thing about Cutler is...everytime i get disappointed, he has a great game, and he does have a chemistry with their recievers....the Bama Qb may be the sleeper and more Bear-like...lol...McCown is one of the best backups around, even at 34....those kinda guys can often be productive, almost to 40....Cutler breaking Sid Luckman's record in such a short time, tells you something about the Bears QB history....lol.....Alway's thought 49er QB Garcia had a few more quality backup years in him.....Did i tell you the wife called and ordered new cards to avoid the Target breach?....an easy and quick solution.....Yeah, that NFC West is by far, the toughest division in football, even the Rams are only a QB away...Was shocked to see the Patriots beatdown the Ravens that bad, and especially in Baltimore.....i knew Brady would come out smokin, after that Miami loss.....I haven't seen much of Bridgewater, but will in Michigan's bowl game with them.....

On that easy fix to the target breach more than 1\2 the Fortune 500 companies and the virtually every US gov't agency have been hacked. No matter who you are you have no privacy...Even a person who has no computer and pays for everything in cash has few secrets...

http://krebsonsecurity.com/2012/02/half-of-fo...

Those older QB's who have some experence starting are great back ups and can be worth their wieght in gold...McCarron could be a big suprise as a pro ...Everyone thinks it was all Alabama and Mc Carron just was along for the ride...He has the arm and is game smart...Cutler chemistry with the receivers?...You will not win with him...

Yeah, i think McCarron's critics don't take into account that he was restricted by the white bread offense that Sabin loves...he may be a sleeper......Cutler played with Brandon Marshall in Denver and Jeffries is a budding superstar....I don't care for Cutler's personality, but when he has been on he is something special....Super strong arm.....Being from up there, the Bears and Lions are notorious for having cheap ownership....that is more so, their biggest hurdle...but i will always have the 85' team...Greatest Defense, i've ever seen.....My wife is a hawk on financial security, for us....plus we don't really spend that much.....i have alway's been successful by living below my means and everything is already paid off.....kinda the opposite of the government...lol.....we shop Super Target, only because it is only about 2 miles down the road....but i still miss their Garden Departments......

McCarron has learned how to use receivers and backs...Too many college QB win with thier legs or their arms and not their brains...When they get to the big time they find that no matter how talented you are ...that isn't enough...You can not win with out a team...(A lesson the GOP needs to learn)...Bridgewater is the same ...great arm can run but manages a game well..
The Bills are right up there with the lions and bears in the race for the title "the cheapest"....We get told "We are a small market we can't afford...."..We have a 78,000 seat stadium...That is nearly always filled...Let him re-do lease deals every 3-4 years..."Or else"...and folks still pay big bucks...go figure
Agreed the Bears of 85 may have been the best D' that I have seen.
The Steel curtain defenses in Pittsburg were nearly as strong

That small-market deal may actually sometimes be accurate...part of the reason i was so happy for Pittsburgh Pirates success this year...did you see, Moneyball?.....but not for Chicago, the 2nd biggest market in the NFL....One reason that Seattle's success is so fascinating...We had a great time, years ago when we were out there....sad they lost their Sonics.....About all the Qb's coming into the draft....i love Gruden's show on ESPN.....a show on each of the top 8-10.....from the Future Fired Coaches Association...lol...You know, the Jets are a team where the QB has had almost zero quality weapons.....i am not a Sanchez fan, but part of that was totally on them.....BTW, when IS...the lastime a decent Alabama QB made it a success in the NFL? I can only recall Namath and Stabler.....

I just saw the craziest game winning goal ever. The puck pops up high Pheonix goalie loses sight of it turns to skate back into the crease...puck lands in the back of his pants..the goalie has no idea where the puck went ..he sticks his ass in the net...Sabers win...incredible...
The small market thing for baseball is huge because they don't have the revenue sharing agreements that the NFL has...nor does it have a salary cap so the Yankees & Red Sox can try to out-spend each other while Pittsburg scapes by...NFL is socialist...so there is little excuse..
Alabama QB's Jeff Rutledge..Richard Todd...Scott Hunter...Brodie Coyle I may have missed one...but none are Great only Todd was better than OK
True the Jets have no weapons...hard to shed a tear for them...

I just saw the goal on TV...pretty incredible way to win a game....Good for the Sabers, as miracles are few and far between, eh?.....Panthers seem to be the bottom feeders, again this year....My wife told me not to go out today, people are all weird on Xmas eve......i was thinking of going back to the grocery with the $4.99 T-bone steaks...lol...can't have enough of them.....Only got to the 3rd quarter of MNF lastnite.....Still not completely sold on Keapernick as a top Qb.....but i do trust that Jim Harbaugh is beyond, simple football smart....Last game at Candlestick.....Geez, makes me feel old, as i recall seeing Dirty Harry at the theater and watching the scene at Kezar stadium.....i think that stadiums in San Francisco eventually rot apart, due to the amount of salt air, from the bay.....Here in FL...salt air is destructive as hell.....Big condos along the beach, have a system where the residents cars are washed often....but they still rot apart........

It was a miracle and some nights that is what it takes...A flu bug had hit the team and they had to make an emergency call to Rochester ..They ended up playing with 18 guys dressed instead of 20 and a couple of the guys skating were from Rochesters roster.... they have been competitive since Nolan came back to coach.
Kezar Stadium...Brodie and Gene Washington is what I recall...There are a lot of stadiums that I remember that no longer exist...seen games in Municipal stadium in Cleveland and our "Rock pile". as well as Yankee Stadium...Remember all the dual purpose buildings...with the infield cut out and some rain...I think the only one left is Oakland
Is it Tbones or Kools that are calling you out?
People are extra miserable on Christmas Eve ...I think it's just the day were there is a spiking of holiday stress

So a MSU veteran player who is generation 3 in his family to play for State, gets suspended for breaking "team rules" so he will not be playing the Rose Bowl..... MSU did not elaborate on the violation..... We was a team leader for a few years and comes from Traverse City..... I bet the family is having a uneasy time in dealing with this.....

Nothing in the news down here about it.....and haven't heard anything about it on ESPN.....Does'nt help their chances of knocking off a good Stanford team......"Team Rules" is often quite nebulous, until you know what it is......That is my fave upcoming bowl, too......Batch, don't you agree that they blew it by not having a Alabama-Ohio State bowl game?.....

It does have to be rough on the kids family violating team rule could mean anything..reselling tickets to assult could depending upon the coach who's rules had been broken. A few years back when he was at Florida, Aaron Hernandez failing lots of drug tests didn't violate Urban Meyers team rules.
Blue is right Alabama v Ohio State would have been a great match up
the Cotton Bowl Oklahoma state v. Missouri should be a good game

Yeah, but Oklahoma State-Missouri seems too much like a Ho-hum, regular season game.....this BCS has no marketing vision at all.....maybe the fans should have voted on some of the matchups...Geez...Ohio State-Clemson?...Really??...ZZ zzz.....ZZZzzzz......ZZZzzzzz. ..Oh sorry, did i miss the Orange Bowl....Oh well....lol.....All i am saying is...with the tremendous corporate greed, on display during the Bowl Season....Should'nt they at least, be required to present the most attractive product?....Sorry, but i retired from a business and marketing career and just don't coddle the mundane.....Saw a brief discussion on, Inside The NFL...about some of the shortcomings in mental maturity and communication, among the youngest generations of incoming players....

There is a lot of greed in the current system. There always could be better match ups. Like Alabama v. Ohio State...But Ohio st and Clemson isn't that bad...not as bad as Baylor v. UCF
I bet even the best marketing man couldn't construct a slate with no dogs...
i seen that Michigan will be playing thier 2nd string qb...
It's clear that there is less mental and emotional maturity among current players...also back then the media was helpfull in shielding the retards..now they fall all over each other to stick a microphone in front of them

Wanna hear something funny...Michigan's bowl game start's at 10:15 PM......i gues that is good, in that most people won't need to watch....Devon Gardner, their starting QB has turf toe.......I watched part of BYU's bowl, last nite and saw their LB Van Noy drop someone way behind the line.....i don't see what position he will play, but i think he is gonna be a big deal in the NFL........Packers-Bears play a somewhat meaningless game....let's call it, the, "Who Want's To Get Their Ass Kicked" Playoff Special.....lol......Too bad about Romo, but i think the Eagles were gonna cream them, anyway.....I saw UCF shock Georgia Tech, so we shall see.....i like their coach, he looks like many of the big drunk irishmen, i grew up around....Rudolph was'nt the only one, with a big red nose.....lol.....49ers-Cardina ls looks like the best game Sunday.....too many dog games to pick one.....

49ers v. Cards is clearly the game of the week When I saw Romo pulling up lame...I felt bad for him..the fact that he was willing to play like that means he has testicular mass....
There are dogs and then there are DOGS...The biggest dog in this huge litter...Redskinsv. Giants neither team gives a damn and they can prove it how about a 0-0 tie?
Right now Miami and Louisville is on this figures to be a fun game...Then your boys play in the Insomnia bowl, I hope you took a nap this afternoon
George O'leary is a great coach..The UCF team he took over was the doormat of the MAC he went 0-11 his first year and we beat them 19-0 He was pissed screaming all red faced they got jobbed out of a garbage time call and he took out his frustration..
With that nose he reminds me of the Monsignor at the place i went to grade school... Same bulbous nose and same red face when he is pissed and screaming at you
