I agree CP, but we both know that rabid anti-abortionists aren't known for showing basic brain function, don't we?(eg)

God bless him, If abortion is so traumatizing to just look at it, it must really be murder on the unborn.

So you're ok w/ showing gory photos to your kids? Gonna make a bloody mobile of body parts for your new addition? I used to sell animal body parts - I could hook you up w/ something you might get all tingly over. You could hook up a pump so the blood pumps through the mobile....get that baby used to the stuff you'll be showing him soon enough. Also, I have a friend who is a medical examiner -- would you like her to send you some really juicy pix of murder victims? Suicides? Would you like them fresh or does decomposed get your juices flowing? Just how far deep does your need for gore go?

I am not ok with the gory gruesome procedure that is abortion and if it takes being seen for what it is, then I am ok with showing it and if you dont like what abortion looks like, then do something to stop what it is. Your right kids shouldnt be exposed to what abortion looks like, but at least they were spared what abortion is.

Abortion doesn't look any different than any other medical procedure. Do you want to show your kids pictures of my gallbladder surgery? My gallbladder surgery was a lot uglier than my abortion.

Have you who think this is a good thing missed the fact that this man is displaying these pictures outside of a CATHOLIC school, where it may be supposed that many of the parents are pro-life? Who does he think he needs to convince? What is the point?

Do think all medical procedures except for abortion are pretty? How about photos of wisdom teeth being extracted? Open heart surgery? Tummy tucks? Liver transplant? None of them is particularly photogenic and no one I know would want their kid to see photos of ANY of these.

Ever seen a C-Section? It's pretty damn gross, I can tell you that. All these people are really interested in is making them believe the same way they do. And they will go to any lengths to accomplish that. The end justifies the means for them. It's pathetic, really.

An intestinal resection will send most medical students to the vomitorium. The grossness of a procedure doesn't mean it is wrong.

Typical--no respect for born kids; once they leave the uterus you lose all interest.

How many kids could deal with footage of ANY invasive procedure, even life-saving ones?

Pictures are very helpful, they show how human these babies are, why do you think that the pro-aborts are jumping on the bandwagon to disuade those who use them? Yes I know they are being used at a church and yes I know they are gory and awfull to look at, but it is because abortion is awfully gory. The first time I saw that, it made a huge impact on me, and I have seen it turn borderline pro-lifers into agressive pro-lifers. I dont see the outrage over what our kids see on television or the internet only anything that shows abortion for what it really is. I applaud those who are willing to stand up for the unborn.

Are the pictures a new tactic?

Actually, the pictures aren't doing anything to further the PL agenda. Pisses off many of your own actually. It's a shot in the dark, but I'm quite certain the Catholic priest who put this extremist under citizen's arrest is PL.

Well, things on TV and the internet can be monitored and controlled by parents. What do you suggest a parent driving down the street w/ his/her kid do? Shove them into the floor so they won't be subjected to these pictures? Would you like to be be-boppin' along w/ your kids and have me standing somewhere w/ a picture of a bloody birth? My sister's delivery of my oldest neph was especially bad and bloody (I was in the room for it). Let me shove that in the fact of your kid and see how much you shout "Praise God!" ~eyeroll~

In case it slipped your notice, these pictures were not merely being displayed at a church, but a school as well. A Catholic school where it may be assumed that most of the parents are pro-life. And, I might add, that it was the PRO-LIFE PARENTS who objected to it. Is there any real point in simply 'preaching to the choir'?
