Keansburg Amusement Park vows to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy destruction

The owner of the Keansburg Amusement Park vows to rebuild the popular Monmouth County park, which was heavily damaged by Hurricane Sandy.

Kudos to them if they manage to pull it off, I drove past it last week, and it was a mess..we'll have to see if today;s storm adds to the damage, or just washes away some of the sand.

i am very concerned about if belford, n.j. got hit bad from sandy and the snow storm. i was born and raised there and i now live in pa. and i am worried if my hometown got hit bad.can any one give me any info?

Best thing was that the storm knocked a lot of the dilapidated place down ,I wouldn't ever bring my children to that place ,but with rebuilding it might even bring a better quality of life to it. Fema /Insurance will pay and also to the people who lost their homes (which by the way is the people we should really care the most about).
On the flip side of tidal surge is perhaps most of the syringes got washed away.
