Sad, that the very Government that is suppose to serve and protect has failed. Donald Trump may be correct, time for a REVOLUTION!

The Gov is definately failing in this area. No power for weeks, and will be a few more weeks. thank the union for telling help from other states to go home due to them not being union and might uncover some corruption or show people that the union is slow. People not allowed to go check on their homes and possibly prevent further damage or save something that belongs to them. what a mess and it gets worse every day.

ive gone from jersy proud to jersey sad

Just returned from Seaside Park. They have restored our Electric as the Meter is well above the water line. Seaside Park will be closed to ALL, from the 8th to the 18th while they restore the Gas. I can understand why after seeing what a gas fire did to the Heights. I'm wondering if contractors will be denied access as one dropped cig. butt could blow up the town.

Well, they changed plans again. Now, Seaside PARK will be shut down on Dec. 15th for 4 or 5 days. Who knows what the plan will be tomorrow? I have to add that the town is doing a great job cleaning up and have even supplied Porta-Potties throughout the town for residents and contractors.

People...We had a catastropic hurricane...I have a house on N street in SP as well, but in order to get our town up and running, things need to be done and people will be inconvenienced! Please put yourselves aside and think of everyone. Hopefully we will all be taken care of when the restoration of the barrier island is complete.
