Eighteen people held a rally in front of the office of state Rep. Angelo "Skip" Saviano, R-77th, in Elmwood Park the morning of June 22 to encourage Saviano to protect state programs that assist low-income immigrants.

I don't care what color the people r who get the help as long as they actually need it. The gov. Needs 2 do a better job in investigating people! Drug test etc...... if they drive up 2 da unemployment in an escalade truck, & they pay groceries w/ food stamps then its the govt fault 4 allowing all the milking! We need 2 fix the system 2 serve the needy, because this is america (melting pot) & it doesn't matter what # has 2 be pushed 2 speak english. U should learn a 2nd language urself 2 be better educated!

The saddest part of the whole issue is no one hears us on this site. Nothing we can do can change a darn thing,. I went to a church I have attended since I was a kid and felt like I was a stranger in another country.
