Mayor Daley accused Gov. Quinn today of a political double-cross regarding the governor's proposal to cut $300 million from the share of state income tax revenues earmarked for local government.

This is one of the few good ideas Quinn has had. He should cut the amount sent to Chicago even more then that. And NO PORTION of any State tax increase should go to cities. It should all go to paying overdue state payments to schools, colleges, nursing homes, and pension systems.
