If everyone is smart they will stay away from Credit Choice Motors in Sherman, they repossesed a car that we purchased for being one month behind due to family issues which that part is our fault but what they did was TOTALLY ILLEGAL.
The car we bought already had hail damage on it and once they repossesed the vehicle they decided to turn it into our insurance company and they got a $1566 check out of it. So beware....

It doesn't matter how late you are on your payment. If your 1 day late they have the right to reppossess. After all you entered into a contract to pay on time. You failed to follow through with your agreement. What's illegal about it?

The part about claiming it on insurance. That is the illegal part, at least from how it reads.

went to credit choice today. i was looking at a 2002 mercury with a 130,00 miles. i was trying to trade my 1999 chevy blazer that has 140,00 miles. my car is in great condition. jack only wanted to give me 1600 for my car. i needed at least 2000 so i could do the deal. after he drove my car he said the only way that he could give me 2000 is if he had the oil pan drop to check for metal shavings.the funny part about this deal is that the 2002 mercury that i drove shifed hard also. but he was not willing to pull the oil pan on the mercury that i was about to buy. told me that he and i was not clicking and it was 6:30 he was going home>>>who in the world runs off a customer????? laughed all the way home. i've never worked at a place where i ran off customers. and really! i was going to make the payments to a place that was going to act like this?? i will be sure to tell everyone that i know and then they can tell everyone that they know and so on! have a great life. and i thank god for this deal not going through.

Jack is very friendly and always willing to help someone in need. You have to understand that when you buy from Credit Choice, you are buying from a tote the note place not a finance company. The dealership only gets paid if you make your payments on time. I had an issue where i couldn't make a payment on time, just called and they were more than happy to work out an arrangement with me. Jack even tracked down the exact car that i wanted to make me happy, and when that car had an issue Jack made sure if got fixed for me. I don't buy cars from anywhere else.

I read the posts of everyone. I have had numerous exchanges with this company. Probably 4 different dealing with them in the past 4 years. EVERYONE of the times that I came and helped someone get a car everyone was friendly, helpful, and sincere. They have stood behind each purchase and have helped us get the best deal in every way. I would go today and purchase from them with great confidence. They even stood behind another dealership's crummy deal and made it right with the owner of the car.

I purchased a 2002 car with over 100k miles but ran very good. The day after I had to call a tow truck because the car overheated and spewed fluid all over the place. They fixed it have me a loaner till it was fixed. Got it back a week later the compressor went out. Again they gave me a loaner and fixed it at no cost. Two months pass all is well thanksgiving day the transmission goes out miss family dinner with pregnant wife on the side of the road. They fix buy costs me 2500 a week later it goes out again they replace buy say I did it and would not stand by their warranty. I threatened lawsuits they fixed at their cost. Now the computer is going out on it and not running well at all. Over all I am impressed by the fact that they try to stand by their cars but the car itself is the worst I have owned so I am leary about buying again. Ask for the carfax report next time.

I bought a truck from Credit Choice about 2 years ago; paid $12,000 for it, even though it was six years old. I had the truck less than 2 months, and they repossessed it saying I didn't have insurance, when I did. The insurance agent had failed to send them my information! They charged me $175 repo fee! Then the engine blew in it, and they charged me over $3,000 to replace it with a USED engine! So now, it's cost me as much as a brand new truck, but I can't get even $2,000 for it as a trade in! I should have learned my lesson, but I didn't. I went back and got a car, and by now, they had a new manager, Jeremy, who's an absolute jerk! He told me the ONLY thing wrong with the car was the 02 sensor, so I take the car. Found out the AC compressor is out, and they KNEW it was because they took the relay switch off and hid it in the fuse box! But he says I should have known it didn't work, and he's not going to fix it! NEVER buy a car from these crooks! I have talked to an attorney, who says everybody who got screwed by these people need to join together and file a class action lawsuit against them!

I was told you do not have 30 days to return the car! And if you do, they keep your down payment! And you're just without a car! This came straight from Jeremy's mouth!

Anyone that would deal with credit choice should know how they operate and believe me its not honest at all. I have never purchased from them but have family and friends that have and they all really got screwed. I would advise everyone to stay as far away from them as possible. This is from the Sherman location.
