What is the town doing about the land they bought for land perserve and its being rented out to COUSINS Paintball for $8,000 per month. They have been trying to kick them off the land for 2 years now.... Why should the town not pay tax on commerical property 88 acres of land (Tax would be over $2 million per year) being rented out for a profit and being taxed for nonprofit? As per stories in Long Island Business News, Newsday and Channel 12...What a cover up...no body in the town will give me an answer.....?????
The Town Supervisor is getting paid to protect the people in Brookhaven. HA HA HA When it comes time for re-election remember non profit land in Brookhaven rented out to Paintball Long Island/ COUSINS for $8,000 per month $96,000 a year.. land perserve that paintball players are destroying and the town is making a profit on this land and not paying taxes as I was told by the tax dept. and the Town Supervisor knows about this for three years and can't get them off the land. Its time for a change...

John Powell got cough for $20,000 by the Town of Brookhaven. The Town of Brookhaven according to Long Island Business News, is using non profit land preservation and renting it out to COUSINS PAINTBALL at $8,000 per month... Profit.. Where is that money going to? Cousins was evicted off land almost THREE years ago and the Town of Brookhaven Courts has NOT been able to get them off the land. But COUSINS can CHARGE people to play paintball on the towns land.
According to COUSINS they had 2,000 people at their big Paintball game on the Town of Brookhaven non profit land...at an average price of $100 per person, plus sponsors. you do the math...
The question that I have .. "If the Town of Brookhaven, and the Town Supervisor of Brookhaven
knows about this land being used for profit...WHY IS IT TAKING THREE YEARS and they are still on the
The people of Brookhaven should write letters to the Town Supervisor and see what he is doing about it. Or may be IRS will come into the picture...We could be talking about Hundreds of Thousands...
