Police shoot, kill man on Long Island

The Suffolk County Homicide Squad is investigating the police-involved shooting that left a Bellport man dead.

I don't know many facts right now, but don't believe everything you hear in the media. Many reported shootings by Police have been later found to be Police Brutality. Maybe the Police are in the right, but don't rush to judgment until all the facts are investigated and an autopsy is done. There are always facts that don't get out right away. Regardless, my condolences go out to the Keating Family and I hope the Officers are okay and their wounds heal soon.

You see. The gun was PLASTIC. There really should be a law against plastic guns. At least no plastic gun should be anything BUT orange!

Uh,no the gun was a REPLICA of an Uzi, made of metal and plastic. In short it appeared to be a fully functioning automatic weapon.
The end result was tragic, but the officers were 100% justified in using deadly physical force.

Of course they were, as long as those are ALL the facts. Investigations don't happen overnight. I am an impartial person, but as an Activist I learn a lot of things before the public with my fellow Activists. They don't give all the facts on TV most times. You never know WHAT fact can pop up. As it is with the facts now, the Police were completely justified of course!

No they don't, thats like tipping your hand in poker. Certain facts are known only to the persons at the scene or involved in the crime, and thus closely guarded investigative information.

Exactly. This is why Activists like me always run to the scene so we can get the real unbiased truth. We are not bound to anyone so they can't control how we LAWFULLY get information. We talk to bystanders, witnesses and Police to try and piece things together. We also ask questions that will help people realize what's really going on. We help get witnesses for Police(at least I do on many occasions)that would otherwise be unknown to or afraid to talk to the Police. We bridge that gap between the Police and the Community and in our own right are the ears and eye's for the Police. On the other hand, if we realize the Police are lying, we protest that. We just want the TRUTH to get out and we don't care what we have to endure or go through to get the truth out no matter what(lawfully, of course despite how the Police try to portray us).

Does anyone know why the location under our names keep changing? It really is ridiculous how locations change each and every time you make a comment. I can't understand this. For example, I live in Long Island City, New York(I was raised in Bellport Village though).

Should I be impressed or something? An ambulance chaser is a trial lawyer who solicits business from victims, alleged victims, or people claiming some form of personal injury. I find them to be the lowest form of scum as they are bottom feeders and extortionists.

Your self professed "Humanitarianism" makes me question your motives. Most people that enjoy doing good works don't advertise so loudly. You seem to throw out a list of things that you've done for no better reason than to prove an image of yourself. As for liars not being interviewed, come on now? I don't know a politician who hasn't been interviewed nor do I know of one who isn't a liar. So not only do I question your motives, but now I'm forced to question your sanity and intelligence.
